I was pulled aside in the airport by the TSA. They actually started asking me questions about attending the cup. The female? agent asked "were did you go?" "did you visit any coffeeshops" "did you go to the cannibus cup?" It seemed like they thought they were the DEA or something.

Make sure that you DO NOT try to take any illegal substances back. DO NOT take any used smoking equipment back at all. They totally searched my bags and even read matierial that I wrote on.

I am an american citizen, not involved in any terrorist shit and they were busting my balls.

The funny thing is that like a month later they could not catch a guy with a mideastern type of name, was denied entry to london, who was reported by his own family to be a radical and bought his ticket the same day cash?

What a bunch of incompetant assholes. I mean the last thing you want to encounter on your way back from a vacation is a low paid government employee on a power trip.

I think the TSA needs to focus their attention on people who are actually trying to harm others instead of busting the balls of people who are going to amsterdam to blow off some steam.

I do think everyone is trying to help. The airport was in shambles with no radar or air traffic control. The US was the only country with the ability to come in and use their own radars and controllers to help facilitate aid flights.
So in response to Adamster, I say (besides get the fuck out of here), the US, and France, are trying to help. To make an issue of this only hurts the aid efforts, IMHO.
