Ok so Amsterdam has like 280 coffeeshops and around 70 of them (I think) are in the centrum. I have a trip booked or April which will be my 4th time and this time id like to maybe check out some of the other areas further out. Anyone got any experience with that? I have heard the name Haarlem....
Any advice is most welcome.
Thanks

There a lot of good coffeeshops outside of the centrum. These are a few of my favorites. Katsu, Media, YoYo, Tweedy and Kashmir. Harlem is a city northwest of Amsterdam, it's a very short train ride. There are some very good shops there as well. Birdy, Willy Wortels Sativa, and Empire are all close to the Harlem train station. The other Willy Wortell shops are supposed to be very good as well, I haven't tried those, however. Enjoy!

Use this map to zoom into Haarlem for it's 16 shops.

My top smoke of 2009 is Birdy's Jelly Hash. .4gr 10 euro

Paradox is well worth the walk, and with its location it gives you reason to maybe visit Anne Franks House....... or not lol and just chill in Paradox
Have fun, and a trip around the Albert Cuuypstraat is well worth it

I second Paradox in the Jordan! It's very very close to the centrum anyway

How do you get stuff added to that map?
There should be a Bulldog 2 doors down from Rokerij II (Single 10).
Also the new Dampkring is not there (Haarlemmerstraat 44)
Cracking map though otherwise!
