Hey all. Im new to this forum so far I found it informative and entertaining. Im Danish will try in English. Im going to Amsterdam for easter april 1-5 2010.
Ive been a few times before with the boys watching football ajax-fc københavn.
This time im going with my girlfriend staying in an apartment near vondelpark didn’t want to take her to dirty hostels.
Hopefully the weather will be nice so we can spend some time outside.
Any members have any tips/information on parties/concerts/events going on in Amsterdam around Easter?

Anyone fancy a chill and a smoke let me know

Hi welcome to the forum,i think weather gonna be fine for this dates,probably somebody gonna be hanging around too.I have a question for you: how is Christiania this days,is it still there, can you still buy maryjane there,i used to have friend in Moscow who lived there,told a lot of stories about that amazing place in Kopenhagen

Thanks Dimon, Christiania is the freetown in Copenhagen. It is an old military area squatted by the hippies in the late 60s people are still living here. You can buy weed and hash in pusherstreet (look it up in a map). Price/quality is comparable with amsterdam

This might be a noob comment but.. i thought cannabis sale was officially banned there in '04?

Hi intricatethakid. I will try to explain. Cannabis is not legal here but it is tolerated in Christiania because no hard drugs are sold

So is it sold thru businesses like the coffeeshops in Amsterdam? Or is it just tolerated to be sold by street dealers?

There is no coffeshops in cph like in holland only smoker friendly bars

so there is a real stands, with a good assortment

Dimon: The stands (i guess that the right word thanks) usually has 5-25 types of cannabis. Most of the hash is from marocco but you can find more 'exotic'. The selection of weed depends on the season but a lot of the same strains as i Holland.

In new york you have to go to Washington square at Greenwich village at Manhattan to find some weed,i used to buy it other there,it was ok,so called "dime"- 10$ bags
