I've come across this listing:
http://www.amsterdamtattoos.com/ I don't have any experience with any of them, but have heard House of Tattoos is quite good. There is a tattoo convention in May or June.

I´ll be there in April so no convention for me. I like taking tats on trips but the artist should have some sort of rep. I´ll check the forum but any tips are appreciated.

I done a lot of research before I got my one and only tattoo while in Amsterdam and all I can say is good luck. I found a guy with big rep(Bill Loika at Tattoo Peter) and still got a real piece of shit tattoo. 85% of mine looks perfect, the proplem is the other 15% looks like a blind/drunk 15yr old done it with a bottle of ink and a sewing needle. I have heard many good things about Sjap at House of Tattoos.

Do someone know a place where I could quickly do a little tattoo without having a rendezvous ?
I just want to get tattoed the three crosses of the RLD, just a little thing, like 10cm height, for my 21st birthday.

I got a tattoo done in Tattoo Peter -
http://www.tattoopeter.nl/
It's just a small one that I got done to ward off 'home-sickness' when I moved back to Ireland, the 3 'X's of Amsterdam, but the shop was really friendly and patient.
My friend liked it there so much that she went back the next day and got a half sleeve. It is quality work - very elegant, healed quickly and hasn't spread at all. They also took into account that neither of us had much money and knocked a few euros off the price, which was absolutely epic of them.
I'm planning to get another tattoo done there again in a few months - that's as good a recommendation as I could give, really.

Thanks for your answer. How much did you pay for this tattoo ? I wanted the 3 X too ^^ You just came in and they did it directly, or you took a rendezvous and came back another day ?

Mine was only €60 - it took about 5 minutes and they only had to use 1 size of needle because of the font I chose (not the typical Amsterdam crest look). However, the standard price is €80 for a tattoo that takes less than an hour, then it goes into timed rates. I checked in a few shops in Amsterdam and that was a good average base rate - lots of them were €100.
I got it on the same day as I went in. They would have been ready for me in 20 minutes, but I went away for 3 hours to meet a friend and have dinner, it was no problem. They just took a deposit and told me to show up again whenever.
