Hi all. I am due to be heading to the dam sometime in April (will confirm dates for 'Who's in town' section soon), on the day of my last visit was when they had brought in the ban on smoking tobacco in coffeeshops (well the area where the staff work) and I've not been back since. I've been reading bits on the idea of making coffee shops membership only etc. Has anything major changed in the last year or so that I need to be aware of? Appreciate if anyone could fill me in as the last think i want when i get there is a nasty surprise!

Thanks

Hasn't happened yet. The smoking ban officallly is still in place [NB It only applies to tobbaco and is difficult to enforce :) ]

As to the members only part - Delayed by paperwork - See

Cheers guys, thats made me feel a lot better now. I'll still tell me mate that it could happen soon, just to get him off his arse and on a plane! Hes the biggest pot smoker I know and for some strange reason I have always struggled to get him to come to Amsterxdam! (ball and chain i think  ) so if i tell him it might be too late for him to EVER go to Amsterdam he might get off his rear. Heres hoping......

Thanks
