I'm gonna be making me second trip to Amsterdam with a few friends on the 8th April for 5 days. staying in an apartment just next to Prix D'Ami.
Can't wait. but still almost 3 months to go.
Anybody been to Amsterdam this time of year, last time i went was in the middle of summer and it was so busy. kind of hoped it would be a bit quieter this time of year.....?
8-12th April

Amsterdam in spring is great! I visited Amsterdam in March last year and the year beforel. The weather was perfect last time and it was my greatest holiday experience ever!!
Unfortunately in 2008 the weather was awful... Temperatures at about 0°C and it was snowing sometimes... but it was a very "cool" stay.
Generally the shops are not too crowded during that time of the year. We had never any problems finding a seat.
So, if the weather is o.k your stay in Amsterdam will be fantastic. The tulips everywhere, springtime in the air. Sitting outside will blow the "winter blues" right away...
Have a great time! Perhaps we meet for I will be in town too during that week (April 6th to 11th)

Don´t know if you were adressing me, but I have no problems with your age, because I´m also beyond the 30s...
If you don´t hava any problems with me being a German not able to understand every word of you native speakers... we could certainly meet!
I will put some plans here on the board in late march so then we can fix an "appointment"
looking forward to that! 77 days till "take off"
