8-12th April

Post by Justboy »

I'm gonna be making me second trip to Amsterdam with a few friends on the 8th April for 5 days. staying in an apartment just next to Prix D'Ami.

Can't wait. but still almost 3 months to go.

Anybody been to Amsterdam this time of year, last time i went was in the middle of summer and it was so busy. kind of hoped it would be a bit quieter this time of year.....?

Amsterdam in spring is great! I visited Amsterdam in March last year and the year beforel. The weather was perfect last time and it was my greatest holiday experience ever!! ;-)
Unfortunately in 2008 the weather was awful... Temperatures at about 0°C and it was snowing sometimes... but it was a very "cool" stay. ;-)

Generally the shops are not too crowded during that time of the year. We had never any problems finding a seat.
So, if the weather is o.k your stay in Amsterdam will be fantastic. The tulips everywhere, springtime in the air. Sitting outside will blow the "winter blues" right away...

Have a great time! Perhaps we meet for I will be in town too during that week (April 6th to 11th)

Don´t know if you were adressing me, but I have no problems with your age, because I´m also beyond the 30s... ;-)

If you don´t hava any problems with me being a German not able to understand every word of you native speakers... we could certainly meet!

I will put some plans here on the board in late march so then we can fix an "appointment" ;-)

looking forward to that! 77 days till "take off" ;-)
