Hey Barbie, just curious why you say your 25 years old on this thread and in the 'memories from the 80's and 90's' thread you say you were 18 in 1998. You don't need to lie to kick it. You could have just as easily told the thread you were too young to go to the Dam in the 90's, but told your story anyway.

EDIT: After reading over your stories again I'm beginning to think you made it all up. First off you got the conversion from pounds to guilders way wrong. Second the details in the stories seem a little too fantastic to be true. I also highly doubt that a bouncer would KO someone for taking a picture in the RLD. Something about your stories seemed awfully artificial to me.

On reflection my words may have been a little on the attacking side. And I have to admit I wasn’t in the best of mood when I posted my replies, and of course shouldn’t have let that show in my response.

I just felt people responses were a little bit meaningless, and not really needed, if you read a thread and it means nothing to you… You don’t post.

I was merely stating some people are a little bit more desperate than others to score weed and will go further out of there way. And I gave my example.

I have not caused any other arguments within the forum, if your referring to the “Skunk” thread with Boner, I think you will find I handled myself perfectly. I had a point which I put across, I did not attack anyone on that thread.

Anyway just an apology for been a “Dick” on my second reflection perhaps I do smoke a little bit to much green, in fact I know I do. In fact I mean to slow down. I have to slow down, so I guess there is points in people’ posts.

In regards to the Amsterdam comments based on the 80s / 90s thread. I think your detective work may have been a little unnecessary. My journey was in 2000, and I was a near 17 year old (very big for my age) I just wanted to post as it was a very strong memory for me. The PIMP punching the chaps for been rude and taking photos did happen, whether or not you choose to believe that is far from in my concern. I have pics from that journey which although don’t have a date on them clearly have décor of shops which prove its quite some time ago. And anyone who can remember every fact of there journey 8-9 years ago in the Dam, didnt smoke enough.

Ive been 6 time’s in all and anyone who makes up a story about themselves been beaten up is a little misguided.

Again sorry for the harsh post it was uncalled for. I was having a bad day and felt some comments were either unwanted or needed.

I also have met a couple of people of these boards in the Dam and what not for meet up and of course they were top people, Most stoners are humble caring friendly people.

Anyway rant over. And apologies to all posters.

I smoke weed because i enjoy it and have done for a long time and have never done these things that "we" do !

Imo you are asking a question that cannot be answered as everyones experience is different !

I understand the gist of what Barbie was trying to convey; the things we do to satisfy our desire to get high or stoned. I remember when I was a teenager I would sometimes walk/bike 5 miles to a dealer's house. Of course I knew before hand that the gear was worth the effort, otherwise I wouldn't bother unless I got a ride.
Of the hundreds of people I know that smoke, I don't know any who has sold personal possessions, ruined a relationship, or gone to any extremes in an attempt to score some weed. For those that have, they most likely suffer dependency issues.
