Hello from Toronto

Post by flexativity »

Viewed many times but never posted...love the forum!! Joined because recently been having "amsterdam withdrawal" and wanted to relive some first time experiences with like minded people. Been there 3 times. Each experience was totally different. First time was in 2005...sampled about 30 different types of weed strains and was there for a week. Highlights were the Super Silver Haze from Barney's. Fruity and a strong stone. Northern lights from Hunters for a nice head high if you were not looking to fall asleep during the day. Second trip was 2006 and sampled about 20 different hash strains and kept with the OG kush from Hunters as my mixer. One of the top strains I smoked back 2006 by far if you were looking for a strong stoned feeling rather than high!!!! Highlights Nepal temple ball was excellent for the sticky hash and super afghan for the blond grainier type has was excellent as well. The downer was only there for 4 days..(NOT ENOUGH!!). Third trip was in 2007 and did a mixture of both hash and weed, but this experience was to try vaporizers. Volcano was and still is the best. (I own one myself) Highlights: Blue cheese from Barney's and isolator hash named murder from Hunters.

Looking to visit Amsterdam as a judge this time and looking to book and looking for advice on getting cheap flights for what I'm thinking is a big time tourist time during the cannabis cup. I would say I'm relatively experienced in booking for amsterdam and when to get the cheapest flights but again never been to the cannabis cup so advice for those times would be great.

So looking forward to reading all the first time experiences and reliving my memories and hoping to get to the cannabis cup this year and even reading peoples cannabis cup experiences as well, and of course want to know what the great strains are available. Can't wait to revisit the best place on earth. Smoke on, peace and love, 420 all the way.

Welcome to the board. I'd like to try the CC too. Is it hard to be a judge or just a question of paying some coin?
