Pumped Sore Boogie: 12 Painful Inches!

Post by user54321 »

I don't get as much time to hang here as I used to but I'll always fire a new mix up as and when. You gotta have music to smoke to, right? ;-)

More ardent gayness to shake yer rump to. Enough industrial trumpet to make your ring quiver with delight. I only use vinyl and some of the records are quite old so there's the odd bit of crackle.

The 12 Painful Inches of Pumped Sore Boogie!

01 RJ's Latest Arrival - Shackles (Club Mix)
02 Erik Rug feat Dynamax (of The Zulu Nation) - Tribute To My People (Extended Disco Mix)
03 Magic Lady - Sexy Body
04 Patti Austin - Do You Love Me?
05 S.O.S. Band - Take Your Time Do It Right
06 Class Action - Weekend (Larry Levan Mix)
07 Deodato - Happy Hour
08 Neighbour - Peaches 'N' Herb
09 Crown Heights Affair - I Don't Want To Change You (DJ Butcher's Change Your Love Re Edit)
10 Don Armando - Deputy Of Love (D.B. Edit)
11 Azoto - Soft Emotion
12 David Zed - I Am A Robot
13 Stupid Human - Together

It's rammed full of camp disco, it needed a fitting title and a wee play on words with my Pump Soul Boogie moniker!

Obviously the 12 refers to the size of vinyl, not me... I'd walk about in Speedos all day if that was the case! ;-)

Disco is currently taking it's revenge on the UK at the moment, it's everywhere - this pleases me no end! More Disco means more amazing nights out dancing!

Let's face it, Disco was too much fun to do just once

If you enjoyed that mix then you may also enjoy this, Marco.

That's my set from New Year's Eve, disco influenced with a kinda New Wave Post Disco Club Boogie type thing... *cough* It's not as smooth as the 12 Inches mix but it was recorded live and I had to make it up on the spot. Long story but I hope you like it anyway.

Glad you enjoyed the mix and thanks for the positive feedback!
