arrive in the dam after a smooth flight from edinburgh lasting just over an hour, after a quick fag outside we (j-smoker &me) grab tickets for the train to central station before running for the platform to jump on the train which was about to leave. This is the toughest part of the journey, the anticipation of the next few days -its almost too much for any man to take! the train is busy as its aound 5pm, no worries- wont take long to get there.
Once off the train we nip to the hotel, a 5min walk to the top of the singel and drop off the bags. Hotel is in a good location with many coffeeshops nearby.
First stop -Dampkring 2 we wonder in, the smell of sweet pungent weed pours out the door as we enter, i feel like doing a little dance or some form of artistic expression to express my happiness...i look over the menu, j-smoker goes for a gram of NYC diesel, as the dealer pops the lid off the tub the smell is unreal, so pungent - theres no way you could sneak this little baby back home!. I go for agram of Tasman haze 9E, as we sit down i cant help but notice the lack of any smell comming from my weed, doesnt even smell like bud,almost zero smell.I light up a splif.....no taste.....no effect...i persist....no way, this is worse than the crap i buy at home! total shite javascript:emoticon(':twisted:')- first time ive ever been dissapointed in a Dampkring purchase. The weed is later thrown away - a crime usually but it was the worst smoke ive ever bought in the dam
Off a wander end up going to Barneys lounge, as we walk in the dealer is rather aggressive and demands ID whilst in the middle of serving someone else, this guy should have a spliff and chill out! i go for an old favourite and grab a g of Crimea Blue 13E or 14E, only little nuggets left but since i was so dissapointed in the previous purchase i stuck with what i know..amazing smoke,amazing smell,excessive price! getting hungry so go for tacos at matios near Leidseplein.
after dinner its a waalk to Rusland, one of my favourite places to chill and have a smoke, not the best menu tho. I go for a gram of Black Russian Ice, very soft and easy to skin up with, fluffed up nicely if rubbed between the fingers, the effects were a little flat but cant expect too much for 9E.Off to Home grown Fantasy i go for a slice of vanilla space cake 5E and a gram of Silver Pearle Haze 12E i think this is the most amazing bud ive ever seen, smells un-natural but so good at the same time, roll up a pure reefer, this shit is the real deal, ill be back for more of this.Head back to the hotel and smoke the last of our stash in the room, in preperation for tommorrows first full day of smoking.

yeah it was the tasman haze that was crap..total crap it was. probs was on the same flight twitch, think theres only one a day at the moment. The space cake from home grown fantasy is amazing, 5E a pop,always been wasted before eating so unsure of the real effects but it always does the trick and finishes me off at the end of the night, so stoned even making a trip to the toilet seems like an epic journey!!
