Oh right, so its possible to type a Ferudian slip? It was his stages of development and the one to do with holding in a shit to gain pleasure that put me off Freud.Valo wrote: Slightly off topic, but a Freudian Slip is actually interference from the unconcious state into the concious state...usually by way of speech or actions. Not getting at anything, but i was a keen psychology student at college and still enjoy talking about it.

I can't say i am neither a follower or anti-Frued, just find him interesting...he certainly has some odd writings. Then he was coked up to the eye balls and thinking about sex 99% of the time

Right, interesting. I assumed because of the pressing of submit and re-reading through a slip would be corrected? Or are we unaware of our slips? Didn't know Freud was a coke-fiend. Shocking. I enjoyed my pyschology classes, it was only classes relating to the Pyschology of Religion.Valo wrote:I can't say i am neither a follower or anti-Frued, just find him interesting...he certainly has some odd writings. I can't remember enough about the Superego, Id and Ego stuff off the top of my head but it's got me itching to have a read again one night. And i think he wrote quite a bit about the pain killing side of cocaine and even try to get it prescribed medically for that use. I'm sure he admitted to a lot of recreational use also. I guess this was before the time that the addiction side was known haha.Sir Niall of Essex-sire wrote:Right, interesting.
