thanks smokey, i knew of this one though. although its unbelievably close to GHE (2doors down) - i found the selection not that suited to me and a bit on the pricey side. but thatnks for the opinion! heck, its so damn close to my hotel, i can see myself going for it anyway. Ha!

I miss that place so much.

Well mate there is The Headshop, Kloveniersburgwal 39 or The Old Man, Damstraat 16. Both good shops, I always pay a visit to The Old Man even just for a browse. They are not particulaly close but they are not that far away either.
You missed it right?

Glass is my main preference, but I have a soft spot for the honey bear bong I made. My glass bong had broken but the bowl survived, then my little bubbler broke but I still had the tubing. As I was making a cup of tea and bemoaning by bad luck, I looked up on the televsion and there was Brad Pitt hitting a honey bear bong in True Romance. I looked at the honey bear in my hand, got a big grin and made a honey bear bong with a glass bowl and some rubber tubing on top making it a nice little 12incher that hits like a champ. What a Sunday morning!
Pack the pipe and keep it movin' down the line

Definitely glass. Specifically glass on glass. meaning a glass bong, with a glass downstem and glass bowl. if well made, like a Roor, the seals are virtually airtight. The density of the smoke in your hit is amazing. I own a glass on glass that isnt a Roor, but is a copy made here in America. It is so far, the best bong I have ever hit out of.

Here's the pic again (sorry about the quality, I re-photographed a print) - bamboo bongs are great! They haven't got as long a lifespan as acrylic or whatever, but those boys can knock up a new one in about 5 minutes with just a machete.
