When we arrived, we brought our things to our hotel near Leidseplein, called "Boutique Hotel View".....well, the view for us wasnt that nice, since we had the room downstairs, but the room and hotel itself are nice, good breakfast, comfortable beds, a big plasma-tv and two bathrooms, not bad at all!
We then headed into town, first stop, The Noon

Bought there:
Sleaze Stick - fucking tasty! has a fruity diesel hint in it, if you like fruity weed, this is a must....the high is great also, so with 10€ on this you cant go wrong (we couldnt find any mold in it)
Blueberry Silver Haze - well, seems like they did a refresh on the genetics of their Blueberry Haze, you wont feel much of a difference to the bb haze effects, but the taste and smell has changed a bit, the heavy blueberry taste is now combined with a fresh scent....lovely
After this we of course went to Mellow Yellow, it was totaly full, was the first time we went to Amsterdam and werent able to sit down in Mellow Yellow
bought there:
Super Silver Haze - nothing has changed on this bud in the past few years, if I ever meet this grower I will give him a big hug....has been one of the best buds in town since we went for the first time, so fresh and sweet in taste/smell and a high that keeps giving and giving (compare that report with my previous and you will notice this is the same description, since it always is the same
) BUY IT!
Silver Cheese - now this is really interesting. although I like the cheese-taste I usually get tired of the taste very fast....not with this one, I could smoke it all day! the cheeze-taste is combined with a fresh taste (just like the bb silver haze from noon), seems like they have done a lot of research with their SSH and crossed it with a few plants.....GREAT! gives you a nice high at first and then lets you slip down in your sofa
A friend also had some of their Amnesia, even though I dont like Amnesia Haze at all, this definitely is a good sample of it, the quality cant be beaten at 8€/g!
After this we wanted to have a dinner. Walked up to Barneys and hit Dampkring on Handboegstraat to get some stuff:
Mexican Haze - Another bud that hasnt changed at all in the time it has been on the menu. Fresh and spicy taste, very very clean high, definitely one of the clearest highs I have encountered so far, and I really love how it looks since the first time we bought it
Mako Haze - not tested yet
Hawaian Haze - erm.....WTF?!?!?!?!?!? there has been a haze like this and I didnt try it until now? WTF?!?!?!?
I love the taste and smell as well as the high. definitely the "Newcomer of the trip", it combines the "skunk"-smell of the indoor-grown haze with the outdoor-taste of some fine imported weed, the combination is just GREAT, if they have it next time we go, I will definitely buy 5g of that, the high is almost as clear as the Mexicans one, but in another way, they are similar but not the same , no idea how to explain it otherwise
get your hands on thisLaughing Buddha - I like this kind of weed, its smooth in the throat, goes down like milk and it doesnt give you that headband-feeling. A good wake-up weed for the day
White Choco - well....what should I say? The name really sums it up best. it is very sweet in smell and taste and it gives you a nice body-stone....you wont find anything this good for 7,5€, amazing stuff!
NYC Diesel - YEA YEA YEA!!!!!! this is the stuff I was missing for so long! and they are back with it! the best Diesel in town is back, GET YOUR HANDS ON THIS IF YOU CAN!!!!!! fruity and absolutely amazing.....nice high, BUT THE TASTE!!!! its the taste that makes this strain so special, seems like they resurrected the diesel clone they had.
The Diesel really made me laugh. We went into Dampkring like 5-6 times by the 2 days we were in town. They were always full of people, either the one on haarlemstraat or the one on Handbogstraat......even though I did manage to get my hands on 2g of left-overs (which usually are better than buds!), but only because we were the first customers to get in on 1st january when they opened Dampkring I at 12.....the first thing EVERY customer would ask on those 2 days was "You got diesel?" and the bud-tenders laughed off their asses, because they were sold out since days...
Then, a friend bought some samples of weed for me before we arrived (thanks for that!!!!)
Cheese from Homegrown Fantasy - definitely worth the money, very smooth/heavy cheese-taste, strong stone, one of the best tasting strains in town for me
LSD from Amnesia - I really have to say, its better than I thought.....I dont like Barneys/Amnesia, but this is a good one, smells alike Diesel, but doesnt really taste like it, still nice quality
Sage from Katsu - has nothing to do with the Sage we had a year ago from Dampkring, has a spicy/nasty taste and smell, but I really like the taste, its something new.....the high is strong, no beginners weed
