Day 3

We were woken up at 10am by the hotel staff as we had to check out. We all got up and packed our bags and left for the day, Hotel Travel had provided at least us 6 with a nice comfortable and clean room which we were able to smoke in without any problems. It was a 6 man room, but was spacious, had a ensuite and for 20e PPPN we couldnt really go wrong, however the other 3, who were in a dingy little room higher up and without an ensuite felt they had paid over the odds for a room of that description.... oh well, my room was nice lol.

Anyways, this day is a little distorted, alot of the crew had or was running out of euros. But im gonna try my best to remember the route and coffeeshops, i do have help with my little book, but didnt use it as much as previous trips to take notes etc etc.

Stones Cafe

On leaving the hotel, the other 3 lads who were sharing hadnt arisen, so we left a message at hotel reception for them to call us when they got up and we wondered round to Stone Cafe for breakfast. We all again had English breakfast and tea or coffee or hot chocoloate and before i even skinned up my spliff the food was on the table, the breakfast was nice and almost 2/3rds of the price you have to pay at Barneys. And anywherer you can smoke a spliff before breakfast is ok with me, even if it is a little bit more money. I cant remember what i was smoking in here, but it set me straight and ready for our final day, no one had mentioned it was our final day yet, i know everybody could have stayed for a few extra days!

Just as we were leaving, i had a call from Tom to say the boys were up and were on their way out of the hotel. I told Tom we didnt know where we were heading, but would defiently be near Stones Cafe in a coffeeshop, "just look out for us" We wasnt quite sure which coffeeshop we were gonna go it, but decided for The Jungle coffeeshop facing Sheeba. I had wanted to go into Sheeba, but the boys made a group decision and went in Jungle while i went round the corner to the hotel to see if i could spot the boys, but i didnt so went back to Jungle. The boys still hadnt found us... this was probably because we were downstairs in the basement playing pool and were visable if you were looking in the shop from the street!.

Anyhow, when we came out of here and walked towards Baba and Stones Corner, walking the other way was Tom, Matty and Aaron. We were reunited.

Hunters (The Coin)

NYC Diesel 10.50e 1/g

We decided to give the other coffeeshop a try after the fiasco of day 1 in Hunters, the one next to the Vodka Bar. We entered and was greeting by a long black haired budtender, youngish, but he didnt seem very friendly, maybe he was stoned, but after showing us a few tubs of weed he exclaimed "im not gonna show you my whole stock"!!!, with that i said show me the Diesel, that all i came in here for, got a gram, grabbed a handful of roach papers and sat down. Mid skinning up the crew wants to move to a table near the door, so we do, but its colder near the door, so Matty asks the budtender if we can close the door to which the guy replied "im letting the smoke out" but he did turn on the heater for us. The Diesel smelt like rocket fuel, and smoked like a think milkshake, If i come in Hunters again, it is because i have failed to find a Diesel that i close to the Hunters version, i mean it pisses all over my previous favourite for Diesel (which was De Kuil 420).

Now the boys, who had so easily got on with Twitchaldinho on the 1st day. were asking where Mr Wallnuts was, but my battery on my phone had died and believe me, to take my chip out if a task on its own (my phone is held together with celotape and duck tape!) so..... we had lost contact with another Dam compatriot... damn, again, special thanks to Pauli Wallnuts, who all of us got on greatly with and enjoyed his company, luckily PW lives a little closer to us and im sure we'll meet up this side the pond for a drink, not a smoke coz PW dont smoke in |England!. :-)

I cant remember where we went from here, but the next coffeeshop we were in was Siberie, Me, Matty, REI and Sol went round here while the others went into The Rockerij.

Sibeire

Mystic Haze 10.50 1/g

Cant remember the smell of taste of this bud, but i do remember Sol and REI got Dieselmania, which was as good as most things we had smoked. I ordered a coffee expecting to get a very large cup (im sure its here where u get the largest mug of coffe in Dam), but i got a cup no bigger than an egg cup!!!. The others strolled in around an hour later and We played Chess in here for around 2 hours or so, while the other got a pack of cards out :-). We wanted to continue our Chess games, while Chris, Joe, Adrian and Aaron wondered round to Greenhouse and Barneys.

We eventually left Siberie, but could have stayed in thee for hours playing Chess. Met up with the rest of our crew in Popeyes.

Popeyes

G-13 Haze 13.50e 1/g

Sat up stairs just above the bar, and we spotted a chess board and piece above our head :-)... I beat REI in one game with just 4 moves, :-), while Matty and Sol played on a really little board, me and REI had a massive board. We had all decided on Homegrown Fantasy as our last stop for some Cheese.

Homegrown Fantasy

I had finally run out of money, but had enough weed and hash left to skin up a nice Zero Zero spliff, followed by the biggest spliff i had built that week, i made an L-skin, and put everything i had left into it, i cant even remember what it was now, but it was the best send off ever, time was getting on a bit and all of us were now looking like we needed a thousand years sleep, very reluctantly and leaving it til the last possible minute we got up and left the shop, heading towards our final destination which unfortunately for us was the shithole that is London city!

If only we had know!!! out flight was delayed for 2hours, could have had 2 extra hours in Dam.

The 3 days for all of us was a blur, and me Adrian and Sol tried to piece together our antics while on the plane.

Within an hour we were back in sunny old England, ready to get back to hard labour and shit weed (with exception of TD's nicely grown King Kush)

Thanks Amsterdam....... until next time :-(

Special thanks to Twitchaldinho (The adopted Londoner) and Pauli "Only smoke in Dam" Wallnuts. Always great meeting people, and even better when they easily fit in with you and your friends. Hopefully c you guys over 420 and other Dam excursions

I love writting up my report, it helps me relive my latest Dam experience, also gives me a great sense of achievement after the write up, and i convince myself i deserve to skin up the fattest of fatties, got some Allegra at the moment... pre cured as most London weed is, but its getting there :-)

Thanks for taking time to read my experience and hope it can be of help, if not just humour and have a good trip whenever you are going and i'll cy'all at 420

peace
LS

Excellent stuff man, very enjoyable read.
Hunters NYCD was a fine example, possibly the best Diesel I've ever had.
Cheers for taking the time to post, I'll be seeing you again at 420 for sure!
Innit
