LS 2010 Smoke Report, feat. T'dinho and PW

New Year... New Ways.... New Years resolution - smoke more and smoke more in Amsterdam 
I booked this trip at the start of November, initially it was just me, until i put a message on my Facebook inviting anyone and everyone to join me in what esstentially was a new years celebration for me. Red Eyed Indian (who some may know from last years 420 Celebration) was 1st to pop round mine with his flight money (which without any baggage or extras from Easyjet cost and nice £46). Next up was my mate Adrian and Chris who were bringing their buddy Joe with them, and Joe's mate Tom had also booked his own flight for him and a friend (Aaron). Then Sol (who came with me in July) came round with his money, there was now 8 of us going, and last Matty heard from Joe that we were all going and came round with his money for his flight before he even had a passport. 9 of us in all now, we booked a 6 man room and a 3 man room in Hotel Travel on Beurstraat. To add to this, 2 of the top ACD'ers also rocked up and booked the same time, this was the infamous tavel report genius that he is Twitchaldinho, and Pauli "only smoke in Dam" Wallnuts. already, were not there and the trip sounds exciting
Day 1
Up at 3:45am to find a txt on my phone from Matty, who had walked from the otherside of town in the freezing snow and icy roads to say he was outside waiting, enthusiatic or what, still, better than waiting on someone and thinking you might miss our plane!!. Next i was off to pick up REI and Sol and meet the other lot at the train station.
A nice spliff of Trichome Dense's Jorges Diamonds (unfortunately TD couldnt make it this time, im sure he will be with me at the 420 bash), which he had grew in time for the New Year and we were parking our cars at the airport and getting on the longish bus journey from the car park to the terminal. I have to point out Chris's bag... it was Chesterfield leather in colour and was more like a briefcase than a clothes holdal, he looked like Dr Shipman on his rounds lol
Through customs with ease... Sol and REI were for some reason drinking a bottle of Red Wine!!! lol. Our plane had been delayed for 10 minutes, nehow... it was now 7am Uk time, by 10:30am Dam time we will be hitting Haarlemmerstraat and getting hammered
BARNEYS COFFEESHOP and UPTOWN

While walking up Haarlemerstraat, i think we had decided on stopping in Barneys 1st... We went in, and everyone bought something different from the menu, from Vanilla Kush, to Utopia Haze, just as i was ordering ( i did want to start with the Grinspoon, as i had found the euro's from my last trip that i had left over and i had 17, perfect to start the day with a g of the Grinspoon), neways, just as i was ordering, Twitchaldinho walked in and explained he had spotted us as he sat in Popeye and we walked past. What a guy T'dinho is, he presented me with a Liverpool FC bracelet that he had the misfortune of picking up and even better and almost pure Cheese spliff from Homegrown Fantasy. We had filled up the shop, 1 by 1 people started dissapearing across the street to Uptown for some breakie, REI, Sol and T'dinho were left in the coffeeshop while the rest of us went across the road, bent over and said do you like it like this Derry !!!!!, lol, $13.50 for a breakfast...... nehow, it may have been expensive, but it was nice-ish and we had a laugh in there, REI, Sol and T'dinho joined us when we had finished and had a coffee.
Time to hit the road, our moto for this trip as were learnt very early on was "Keep in Moving". We took THAT left by Popeyes and see the beautifulness of the city at the end of it, semi iced and rippling water on the junction of canals that lay ahead, we were as always heading towards Grey Area. But upon walking along the canals, all of us making sure we dont slip over in our newly founded stoned and mashed state. We all know that if you go to Grey Area from Barneys that its inevitable that you walk past Amnesia Coffeeshop.

I had never been in here before, but had always wanted to, as it has the upmost respect amounst the forumites on ACD. I looked at a few buds before finally decided on the G-13 Haze and Temple Balls, by this point we must had had around 20 different strains between us all, and i was smoking anything and everything, so to describe how a particular bud smelt of taste like from this point on is gonna be hard... The Homegrown Fantasy's Cheese pissed on everything tho The smell, the taste, the burning of it was all perfect.
After Amnesia, we stumbled round to Grey Area, to find is packed out as usual, so we decided to miss this one out for now and come back to it later. Next stop, Homegrown Fantasy and CHEESEEEEEE!!!!!

Some of the group also got the Silver Pearl, but every1 agreed that the Cheese from here was beautiful. Again, keeping to the moto of "Keep it Moving", we headed towards 420, which was packed aswell and was put on the shop to come back to list, unfortunately we didnt make it back to 420 on this trip, the 1st time in around 6 or 7 trips maybe more that this shop wasnt visited., anyhow, as 420 was packed, DE Kroon wasnt so we went in there.

Blueberry Haze 28e 2/g
I hate the 2 gram minimum buy rule, but im not here to moan, im here to smoke and get high. Also, maybe a little expensive in this shop, but the Blueberry Haze that we got was lovely, probably in the top 5 of smokes we got out there.
After here it was time to go and check in to the Hotel, which was just across the road and a right turn at the entrance of Grasshopper. The 6 man room which was en suite was a lovely room, well worth the 20e pppn (per person per night). wasnt cramped at all, nice working and clean shower and toilet. However the 3 man room that Matty, Tom and Aaron were staying in was basic, with no ensuite, was small and cramped, ah well, cant win em all, my room was nice tho. We chilled here for a bit, skined up a couple of spliffs and then hit the roads.
Hunters Coffeeshop (Please read this Mr Hunter, as i did not expect this from your shop)
We went in here, and the Budtender was VERY rude, if he was this rude to us in London he would have been delt with differently, but were in his domain so he has the upper hand, plus we dont want no trouble, all we want is to look and smell the buds, we did look at around 7 or 8 tubs, in the end the budtender shoved a tubs up Adrians nose and said rudely, this is the best, i could see the mood of us all starting to turn, even so the guy was trying to sell Adrian 1.6 grams of the selected weed, but Adrian only wanted a gram, some1 got lost in translation and the budtender lost his rag again telling Adrian its all in the computer now and he must buy the 1.6 for 19e. He got his gram in the end, and i cant even remember what it was, i do remember it was nothing special, I saw the whole thing, and these guys must really take advantage of stoned people making them buy more that they wanted. I could go on forever about this incident, but i wont, but this guy was rude and arrogant, and for this reason i will not go back in this Hunters again, its is now only the 2nd shop to go on my "NOT TO VISIT AGAIN" list just behind Old Church. So with the vast array of choices along Warmoestraat, which we all translated into English as Worm Street. Hill Street Blue was close by,

Greeted nicely by the girls behind th bar, and the guy shpwed us all the bud we wanted without any hassle. The Cheese was a nice sample and we got on the pool table and had a good time in here

Now time to have a couple bevvies and smoke what we had purchsed for the day, was greeted by DC and from here until the time we left we were smoking bag after bag from the volcano, getting baked and getting the munchies, we decided to have a look down Damstraat for a bite to eat, we ended up in a pizza slice place and next door in a chinese Wok 2 Walk style place, food wernt great, i had noddles and sweet and sour chicken, it filled a hole tho and was now time to find another coffeeshop

T'dinho, like me doesnt like the Greenhouse all that much, so he just skinned up and sat outside,
I had promised TD that i would sample this strain as he had just grown it out, i must say that there wasnt much different, Greenhouses version stunk a little more and the buds we heavier, inreality an overall better smoke, but TD's version was uo there with the taste and buzz, Greenhouse just had better buds.
We were still waiting for Pauli Wallnuts to turn up, and T'dinho had just asked what had happened to him, he was flying from Gatwick mid afternoon, but had promised us that if his flight didnt take off he would drive, and while in the Greenhouse i got a call from PW saying he was in Dam, looking for somehwere to park by the Amsterdam Areana, and that he would be in Centraal in an hour or 2 once he had himself sorted out
off to Greenplace next where we met up with H, a friend of mine that now works in Nes. I got a gram from here, but for the life of me i cant think what it was, it was one of my favourite smokes of the trip and as always in the smoking room at the back of Greenplace we all got baked.... and then Matty said something that woke us all up a bit "Where's Tom??!!!!!", we had lost fir the 1st time a member of our group!, i didnt care, i thought good for him, he can do his own thing, but Chris was a bit worried so went off to look for him, 5 minutes later he return with a smile on his face "I dont know where the fuck im going" and sat back down!!! T'dinho, the gentleman that he is, and by now had fitted in easily with everyone and with the London banter offered to take Chris back to the hotel to see if Tom had turned uo there. H had just turned up and was telling us of his progress.... seems to be doing well. We were now looking for somewhere to watch Liverpool vs Reading in the FA Cup 3rd round replay, which Liverpool should have walked through at home. H wanted to go the Stones Cafe. T'dinho and Chris walked back in with an unlost Tom lol.

H had 1 drink and then fucked off, dunno why he brought us here and then done the bee, but we were left in Stones, wernt the greatest of atmospheres, not helped but the mad crazy guy making sure every1 had a drink as soon as the last sip of the last drink was drunk.
Was ok in here, and me and Adrian played a very competitve game of pool with some locals while watching Liverpool struggle to beat Liverpool. RED and Sol, who had been drinking since a can of Fosters in the car on the way to the airport were seriously lagging and wanted to get some weed a go back to the room, so off they went and 10 became 8. Chris, Joe, Aaron and Tom went shortly after leaving just Me, Matty, Adrian and T'dinho waiting for Pauli Wallnuts. Not long after PW walked in and were watched Liverpool lose to Reading in extra time... i was so stoned and have no faith in Benitez anyway that i didnt even care. PW's hotel was near Dampkring so we went there.
While on the way to Dampkring... well 20 yards b4 we got in Dampkring Matty took the 1 and only fall of the trip, dodging past people outside a pub smoking, Matty skating on the ice, lost his footing and i think his elbow broke his fall... ouch, however me and Adrian could not stop laughing and T'dinho and PW joined in, lol, poor Matty!!

I had run out of weed so looked at the strains i normally get from here which is LA Con and Chocolope, the LA Con seems to have lost that kick so i had a look at the Cheese and scopped up 2 grams of that, a gram of Chocolope and half a g of Azizii Riffman hash. We were all feeling the heat, and it was getting late, Pauli had a long drive and we had done a hell of a lot of walking. Pauli was near his digs, and T'dinho's hotel was near ours, so we said our goodbye to PW and made off towards our hotel, T'dinho went straight at Baba while we turned left, our day was over, time for some munchies a spliff and bed
