the hotel singel, found suprisingly on the singel about 5 mins walk from central station or if we go by coffeeshops then just down past rastababy. They have smoking rooms on the top floor but i would suggest getting in touch to ensure you get one.As for smoking in a non smoking room i wouldnt and havent, only stayed in a non-smoking room once, was pretty shit but just make sure your mashed before heading home or alternatively do what i done and go for a "walk" if need be

Monaro wrote:Are there any hotels that specifically allow smoking in your room, or has it been banned as part of the smoking ban? A joint before going to bed with the Ipon on, or one in the morning just after you've woken up, used to be such a pleasure. I can't find any that say smoking is allowed in the room.
i say stuff hotels and go to www.citymundo.com you can rent an apartment for 3 days and get to pick smoking or none and best of all you come and go as you please and the rates are not gonna kill you ether been using them for the last five years & no problems

iv stayed in 3 budget hotels in amsterdam that i can think of right off the bat. the greenhouse effect and the rookies both allowed smoking. hotel flipper didn't though. i also know the sheratons chipol and hotel pulitzer dont allow it. alot of apartments seem to be cool with it.

The A Train hotel, across from Centraal Station has some smoking rooms, best to book them in advance. . Great staff, good breakfast included. My room had a canal view.

Koopermoolen on Warmoestraat allow smoking in the rooms. I've stayed there a couple of times and smoked with no issues.
Suggest you do check with the actual place via e-mail, so you have something in writing.

I know its not a hotel but the campsite Vligenbos is awesome, there is a little communal smoking area where you can go hang out and have a laugh with some random high dudes, and as an added bonus, when you get up in the morning just take a deep breath at the face height thick cloud of smoke that has been lingering all night, that should set you up for the day  . Its really good fun, i haven't been for a while tho so i don't know how much has changed.

Last time we wen,t we stayed at the Botel, what a f**king pain, we had to keep going out side every 10 mins and the only place we could smoke without all them jumped up snobs sneering was visible to the bar and everyone could see us :x But it smelled really nice in the room, felt sorry for the maid tho

I've stayed in the NH Grand Krasnapolsky several times in all sorts of different rooms: smoking rooms, non-smoking rooms, royal wing and apartments. Never once had a problem smoking Anything in any of the rooms, even with the 'no smoking drugs' sign.
P.S. I'm talking about serious smoking sessions of both weed and hash
