I heard this is in the gay area of dam. Is it sill ok for 2 straight guys to stay there?

Has anyone here stayed there? They are well located near some good coffeeshops. Also it says non smoking. How strict is this place? I will probably be leaving my cc behind the desk there so wouldn't want to get fined.
