Hello from Watford UK

Post by LesDawson »

Hello brothers and sisters. Been reading up on these forums for awhile now and I thought it was about time that I took the plunge and joined in with this wonderful community. Been to Holland twice in the past (last time was about a year ago) and planning my next trip for a few weeks time. Can't wait - mad fer it Geezer! Peace and Love. :D

Hello and welcome

You just qualify as a Southerner, anywhere past Watford and you'd be a northern monkey :-)

Have a good trip :-)

Welcome to the forum.

What dates will you be in Amsterdam?
I'll post you on the Whos In Town page.

welcome mate, great name and great to have you here
'knickers, knackers, knockers' as les would say!
as a hammers fan what do you think of you new owners? I'm a Aston Villa fan and have seen how gold, brady et al have ruined our big (ahem) rivals, BCFC in the past so I feel for you at the mo!! peace out
If in doubt, have a spliff

Thanks Hotdog. Not sure what to make of the new trio in charge at the ham, Sullivan was saying how he wants us moved from Boleyn to the new olympic stadium - he says cheaper ticket prices etc, i know things have always got to change but that thought just fills me with dred. He claims to love the club so i'll give him benefit of the doubt that he can't do any worse than that Iclandic fella. Time will tell as always. Got a soft spot for Villa, I live in Watford so when i can't afford Upton Park i go along to my local club. Glad Ashley Youngs working well for you, he was magic for Watford, genunie talent lovely player.
Yeah, Les Dawson was the nuts! Flybynight as soon as i get my flight tickets confirmed i'll let you know when i'm about in the promised land.

lol, nah mate, Charlton is south of the river!!!, not East(well east london is north of the river)!. Like everyone round here we support our "local" team, either Manchester United, or Liverpool :-), me myself, im a Liverpool fan, but my family are all west ham!. And there's only 1 decent team in East London anyway, Leyton Orient :-)
