Ok, back in 2009, Soulrider reported that HGF's lease was extended past its' expiring date of March 31, 2009.

Now we are getting close to March, 2010.

Can anyone confirm the HGF will still be open in March?

Is there a new confirmed closing date? if any?

Christ not this again,Na last i heard its open for good! the closing date passed last september if my memory serves me right.

this must be some myth they give out to get more customers......but their gear is worth the advertisement

Like they need to! its special little place,I can 2nd the blue pearl & the dutch dust,Near dynamite the both of them .

Thanks guys... never had a problem with anything from HGF, other than the cheese dust.... which was a little hard on the throat and lacking in actual cheese taste and stonage.

They've upgraded their system and are still hiring new staff so I can't see them closing anytime soon, unless they get surprised by the decision. They drink here after their shifts and nobody has mentioned anything lately.

Well, on two separate occasions I've had bad attitude from the staff in there - one of which was a quite astonishing display of ignorance - and so, in spite of their gear always being pretty good, I'm afraid i do not wish them well for the future!

lol Even though they have good weed, good location and reasonable prices. They can go and fuk themselves because you had bad service there. Staff can get replaced at a coffeeshop....the license can't. What about everybody that's went there and had no problems...fuk them too?. I can understand you not wanting to go back, but this thread is about them closing for good and if that pleases you, then you're a muppet.

id be extremely disapointed if this shop closed. hope it stays open like alof you you seem to think it will.

canna: maybe you caught the lady on a bad day? i can only assume dealing with stoned and sometimes pushy tourists can lead to bad moods. iv been in there before and someone was a bit rude to me, i don't even remember who because it wasn't a big deal at all. i'v encountered rude employees here in my town and around the globe. i certainly wont stop going to a shop because of it and i defo dont want the shop to close because of it. 99% of the time iv been in this shop iv enjoyed the good menu, good staff and the interesting/diverse music they have played. maybe give it another try.

gear sucks...smoke sucks...see ya....not really concerned...mujch better places....to keep a shitty shop for its license is kinda stupid dc...its been crap for 10 years....when is the improvement comin?.....its already here and it aint there,,,,

In your opinion m8, dont forget that. 145 for and 13 against must be something there. As for being crap for 10 years well visiting once a year you would know that wouldnt you

I'm amazed to hear that you think HGF's weed sucks.
Most people here give them a lot of credit for the quality of their weed. Especially their Cheese.
If the service or staff are more or less pleasant than other shops, is another matter.
But to say that their weed sucks is just not true!

I wonder how often you might have an off day and not treat a customer well, if you were dealing with unknowledgeable 18 year old louts most of the time.
No offense intended to any 18 year old's here, you guys are not the average Amsterdam tourists. At least I hope you're not.

no more opinions then,,,,sorry to particapate.,just to get insulted....and you know how many times ive been in the last ten years?....went 4 times one year ..you have powers...they dont work but you have them .....and you dont smoke what i do son....go over there...ill stay out of your way,,,,they have a table for ya there....its called the i dont care if its over fertilizered and stale ill sell it to suckers anyway table...but remember..i dont know anything bout weed so its my opinion...sorry for it....heheheh,,,have a great week folks
