Blunts
Blunts
Blunts are my favourite way to smoke but am not really very good at them. usually I buy cigar skins which come in packs of 8 in a golden air tight packet. are these the best to use or are philly blunts the one?

Whaddayamean, they never smoked a blunt?
I live in Germany, and we LOVE blunts! However, we rarely make them (except a special occasion like a b-day or a trip to the Netherlands) because it's too expensive for us.
We also use blunt skins though, because they come in cool and different flavors.

Blunts r the way to go. Since we're on the topic,is it accecptable to smoke blunts in a coffeeshop or is the smell too much .If so i'll just roll 'em to go

Blunts are great. I personally like the single blunt wraps. The brands such as Royal Blunt and True Blunt are great. I personally like taking "Swisher Sweet" cigarillos and splitting them down the middle. Then, emptying out the tobacco and re-rolling it. I like cigarillos because you don't have to smoke a huge blunt and can enjoy a smaller version!

not a big fan of the moist tobacco leaves. but i do enjoy the philly titan blacks- really strong durable paper (good if you mess up) plus smoking a jet black blunt just looks cool
and i also dont like the idea of having to roll fatties all the time my saving grace has been "golden wraps" these are lil blunt wrabs the size of rolling papers in a lil joint paper pack so there easy to keep safe!

i was wondering the same thing. I am lik 75% blunt and 25% bong. I hate pipes and avouid them unless its the only option..although i dont mind bubblers. Dunno what i would do if i couldn't smoke a blunt in a coffeeshop. I know they roll fat joints and spliffs in the coffeeshops..so im assuming a blunt is ok....I'll b in amsterdam on sat and i'll b there for 10 days!! Yes, blunts are fine in coffeeshops. One thing I've never understood is why most North Americans will turn their nose up at a spliff with (cig) tobacco in it, but will happily smoke a blunt with way harsher tobacco in them. I must admit that I've only ever smoked about 3 in my life, but I wasn't at all keen. Give me a nice spliff or vap every time...maybe some of you brothers from over the pond can convince me next time I'm in town. (I've just booked for Nov 21-26th my first ever Cup trip wooohooo!)

^ i roll alot of spliffs. Friends dont like them. I dont know why. Tobaco is starting to become frowned upon here. That could have something to do with it. I also dont think it dawns on alot of people that the leaf of say..a swisher is made of tobacco(not sure about swishers..but I know vegas are). I cant speak for everyone but I know blunts are big here in seattle because alot of people smoke with groups of their friends and a blunt is good to pass around a circle. People will throw in 5 or so bucks to get in on it. Spliffs..although fine by me are more of a European thing. Theya re used here but it doesn't seem to be nearly as much.
Maybe it's because we have a lot of Caribbean immigrants here and that's where our weed culture comes from? I suppose it varies from area to area as well. most of my US smoking was in Texas where tiny joints and bongs seemed to rule, but that was a few years ago. You should know that Europeans don't pass a joint so quickly as you guys too, in Amsterdam a lot of people just roll their own and smoke all of it. My Texan mates would always accuse me of "growing a 6th finger" when I smoked with them.
Well you don't smoke a cigar for the nicotine or chemicals it contains, you smoke it for the flavor. Cigarette tobacco is different, in that it's just a nasty little boat upon which the nicotine sails into your bloodstream. Nicotine is addictive, and it's method of administration is deadly, the two don't mix well. But, the occasional stogie is acceptable, as it's not only flavorful, but classy. Sure it's got all the same stuff in it, but it's alot more than just a cancer stick. =P
The same reasoning applies to smoking cannabis. Like cigars, it's not smoked nearly as often as regular cigarette tobacco, and is often smoked for the flavor. Cigarette tobacco, though, is just plain nasty in comparison.

Smoking a spliff, and smoking a blunt are definitely two different things. I don't smoke cigarettes, and if I smoke a spliff, I get really fucked up. Like the very first time you smoked a cigarette. You get light headed and dizzy. When I smoke a blunt, I don't have that. Blunts can be harsh, but they're much different from a spliff.
