and not all (or even a majority) of us americans like blunts. I and many i know don't want any tobacco at all. The blunt thing here in the states seemed to have started in the hip-hop/urban community and they are quite the marketers....get one big name rapper rapping about smoking blunts and then you have a whole gerneration of smokers that feel that is the ultimate. I think we we a rap song about the Volcano!

i think it just made it 'mainstream'.....if you like em smoke em, i am just not a tobacco fan and i find the flavored ones (not swishers but the fruit flavored wraps and such) to just taste vile.....just my preference.

^ yea the wraps suck. I have only found one that tasted how it was supposed to taste and that was a maple syrup flavor one..but i didn't like it much anyway. I like a good old swisher, optimo, etc any day. I like cutting it..gutting it and filling it. Kind of a pre smoke ritual haha.

The only cigar I'll use for a blunt is a Peach Optimo. Tasty.

I understand how some people turn their nose at a spliff with tobacco in the states, but will happily smoke a blunt. I am guilty of it myself. To me... it just taste different, and raw tobacco makes me cough like crazy. But, a blunt doesn't make me cough the same, prolly because it isn't exactly the same thing.

Since we are talking about blunts in the Headshops forum: Where can one find blunt wraps/blunts in the Dam? Brands such as True Blunt, Royal Blunts, Swisher Sweets, and so on...

I'm wit' you, Floid. I don't smoke tobacco as a "rule", but a blunt is a different experience all together, I feel. Used to roll fats all night long wit my NYC crew. Miss that, but blunts are gaining popularity here, esp. in the head shops that know some Americans LOVE em. Everybody has flavored wrapsm but for things like Swihsers (a personal fave) Dutchmasters, Phillies and what not, go to a proper tobacconist/cigar carrier (www.hajenius.nl) or cigarette shop. Better yet, stock up at home and bring them over. But remember to there a bunch of different ways to smoke, try a few you never have when in town.

Of course! I plan on doing them all (even though ive done most of them already).

I suppose I will stock up on blunt wraps and swisher sweets (cigarillos = so good) before I come over.

I didn`t buy them, they were actually gifts from my sister in law, I`ll save em and hopefully I`ll have a visitor who can roll a blunt.
