Now, if I were to believe some of the responses, I may be in danger of being exposed, identified, and potentially arrested/tried/convicted/ sentenced to jail because I answered/gave my opinion on these mostly vague questions. How is this even possible?
The information I provided when registering into this website, combined with my opinions below, provide absolutely nothing to my exact identity. The information asked for provides, if anything, data that could be used in a poll or research (as stated by the OP). No information asked identifies me by name, exact location (nationality is not the same as citizenship, meaning that someone like me who is an American-born citizen can also be a non-citizen residing in another country, or I can list the nationalities of my forefathers-which I have), or any specific identifying features beyond gender and age.
I doth think some of ye potheads are a wee-bit over-the-top paranoid. A classic symptom of cannabis use is paranoia, so maybe some out there in lala land may want to cut back just a bit. Either that or seek some professional help.

I used to be paranoid until I became convinced that everyone is after me.
Just to keep the flame going: How better to gather research information on a particular subject than to go to a known source? There is the direct approach, like going to C/S's, shopping malls, train stations, etc... and talk to people; And the indirect approach, similar to online surveys, such as the one on this thread.

Quit the smarmy sanctimonious preaching to those who prefer not to divulge in this questionaire. Don't start having a pop at those who don't want to participate for whatever personal reasons they are, my friend, with lame excuses of paranoia through cannabis use and telling people to cut back as a result of. It's everyones prerogative to participate or not in this futile questionaire regardless, but don't have a go at those who choose not to and calling them paranoid in their actions, as a result of! Sanctimonious? Mariam Webster defines sanctimonious as hypocritically pious or devout. My opinions are neither.
Please reread the thread in its entirety and take note of the comments before mine. What was the overall tone of the seven responses? Two were in reference to a mailbox and five suggested possible entrapment. I could care less if people answer the questions, much less judge. However, I do take offense to those who would yell fire in a crowded theater when there isn't one simply because they can. Might be a bit of an over-the-top analogy, but maybe the replies suggesting something is afoot may also be a bit OTT as well, given that the questions themselves pose no threat to personal anonymity.
Lastly, my comment about paranoia was intended to be humorous, at least Kermit and I thought so. Hence my added smiley It was not my intent to offend anyone, especially those who may suffer from medically diagnosed paranoia. I was poking fun at those who were having a go at the expense of the OP.
All this over a simple questionnaire.
