RIP Last Hamlet
Last Hamlet died on 26 Jan 2010. He was a long time member of www.channels.nl and was known to many ACD'ers as well.
The world has lost a great wordsmith. Go to Channels and read some of his trip reports.
RIP LH

Last Hamlet was one very cool guy. We met, smoked & laughed on several different occasions. I'm very sad to hear of his death.
You will be missed, Danny! I wont forget what a great guy you were. I'll smoke a BIG one today in your honor cause you were an honorable man. Peace brother.

I've been an active member of the Amsterdam forums since 2003 and although I no longer hang out in the Channels forum, I've certainly come across many posts by Last Hamlet over the years. Rest in peace to a good man.

Very sad news! I haven't visited Channels in months so was shocked to read everything.
I never met him in person but had the pleasure of reading many of his reports over the years, and was equally chuffed to see that he also read and commented on mine at the time.
I'm glad to have had the priviledge of reading his words and i'm sure he will be remembered fondly by all on these forums and those close to him.

I have been known to browse the Channels from time to time, and I had stumbled on his works of art ( trip reports ) before.
From his words, it wasn't hard to get a feel for the kind of person he was. I offer my condolences to everyone who met him, and to all his Family and friends.
As a side note, I recall seing a picture of him in one of Islandgirls reports, I just went looking for it, to re-post it in this thread, but it appears she has deleted them?!?
Oh well, may he be smoking on a huge reefer of his Favourite Ghanj whichever heaven he finds himself in.

Endure
As some one who actually started his forum life on Channels( and who no longer posts there ) and some one who has met LH I can say he was a great person to talk and smoke with.
( was in touch with him in pm for awhile on Channels while he was sick, he kept his humor and compassion for others through it all )
Will be missed.
