Man... such a loss at only 48.

Once in 2004, fortune smiled on me, when the honour to meet Last Hamlet in Amsterdam was presented.

Last Hamlet struck me as easy going and his character was that of a cool southern gentleman, with the most kind and generous way about him.

You'll be missed and not forgotten Danny.

I was lucky enough to meet him during the Channels party in 2005, top top guy RIP Danny.

Anyone that enjoys a good read go and read his trip reports, he put his heart & soul into them and inspired me to write some of my thoughts down over the years.

I never got the chance to meet him, but judging from his words, wit, & humor, we would have got along just fine. RIP Mr. Hamlet

last night i tracked down one of LastHamlet's trip reports on channels.nl, printed the nine pages of one of his days and read them before sleep
