aussie in amsterdam..

Post by bleak »

hi everyone! as in the subject, I'm an australian who lives in the dam (yipee!). have only been living here a few months, but I did spent a lot of time in Holland in the last few years so I know my way around.

really enjoying the city, especially the coffeeshops of course!!!

you can't find the same quality weed/hash in Aust, so I'm making the most of being here. this forum has been a massive help in finding the best stuff in the city.

I'm not so big on the weather this time of year, but hey its a good excuse to stay indoors and get buzzed :)

cheers!

thanks mate! well my partner got some job opportunities here so we decided to give it a try. I had always wanted to spend some time living overseas... for fun, work, cultural experience, travel etc.

I won't go into too many details, with this being a public forum, but I work in the creative areas (visual design, graphics, photography etc) so I started a little freelance business here :)

"Summer withdraw" You have spring time in the Netherlands, Tulip time is a great time to be in the Dam. Hopes this makes you feel better.

Hi there.

So have you had summer in Amsterdam yet?

Every weekend I have visited (usually June) it has been roasting - fantastic. I hope it's the same this year ..

I met a group of Aussie lads last time we visited. Very friendly - I left my boyfriend with them while I went back to hotel for a little sleep.. I dread to think what they all got up to.. :D

You're so lucky living there - enjoy!
