Thanks for such a warm welcome !!

I'm starting to assemble info for trip and this forum is a great source of great info!!! When I'm done I'll post what I got and see if I can get your take on it.

Goals are -

Make a list of Coffee Shops to try out - listing
- shops with good weed -to buy and go - listing kinds to try reccomended by you guys
- shops that are cool to hang out and smoke at

Try and find information about
- where and how to get some mushrooms ( reading all sorts of info on here about )
- figure out if ecstacy is sold in smart shops or not ( not 100% sure about this based on stuff i've read)
- figuring out what other stuff we should try while we are there - that we can't "do" at home easily

Arrange to meet some people to meet up with while there
- like to meet other visitors going at same time
- like to meet up with some cool locals to get a "feel" of the real Amsterdam

I'm bit of a planner as you can see - just want to make most of our trip!

I also need to know -- how easy it is to find a ATM or MAC machine to get cash i'm assuming coffee shops and smart shops aren't accepting of credit cards????
