Is that £100 for both of you or each, is it per night or both nights?jamien2o wrote:Hi i am finally travelin to Amsterdam on Monday 15th March for a 2 night stay and really finding it hard to find any were to stay for less tan £100 is there any places people could recommend?

Hotel Abba for €40 a night and you can smoke in your room...

Old Quarter is €50 per night and a good central location.
I think their single room is €65 per night.cisco wrote:greenhouse effect but dont know the exact web address

I am traveling by my self and passing into Amsterdam on Tuesday 16th March 2010 until Thursday 18th March 2010 and it is just a single room for myself..but i am getitn rates at about £50 a nyt as i would prefer my own 'smoker friendly' room.Kermit wrote:Is that £100 for both of you or each, is it per night or both nights?jamien2o wrote:Hi i am finally travelin to Amsterdam on Monday 15th March for a 2 night stay and really finding it hard to find any were to stay for less tan £100 is there any places people could recommend?

Ditto what darkglobe said. Hotel Abba is actually not bad if you don't mind sharing a bathroom plus they include breakfast. Pretty sure you can get a room with a private bathroom for way less than 100 a night.darkglobe wrote:Hotel Abba for €40 a night and you can smoke in your room...

Also check out Frederic Rent a Bike on Brouwersgracht. Until the end of March a guestroom only costs 40 euros a night, but they don't have many rooms. I had a reservation there but cancelled it in favor of Hotel Abba. Plus both places I just mentioned are definitely smoker friendly. Frederic even puts out a bowl of homegrown in the morning next to the croissants! Only reason I chose Hotel Abba is because they have a TV in your room, free breakfast, and the location near Leidseplein is great. Cheers.
Hi,
Im travelling solo in july and was looking at prices for hotels, they seem alot dearer than when i travelled with a group last spring, but this is prob to be expected. Would anyone recommend trying a hostel and sharing in a dorm as a good way to meet people up for a few tokes, but im a bit worried ill get too spaced out and maybe freak out with loads of people all sleeping in the one room....
