Anyone here personally seen, with their own eyes anything weird in the sky, like UFO's?

Just curious.

lol A friend of mine once took me out to a listening station somewhere near Leeds, smoke enough in that type of location and every light in the distance is a UFO.

I thought I would add what I've seen in the skies years ago, which all happened within 1 week back then, described as event 1, 2, and 3, but note, it was all within the same week just on different days and we were teenagers at the time.

EVENT 1
Being typical teenagers me and a mate were out in some local woods, just messing around with outdoor survival equipment, as we were both in the Army Cadets at that age and loads of us used to mess around in the woods and forest near my home town all the time, what teenager didn't when you grew up with awesome English woods and forests about in Somerset.

Anyway, it was on the verge of getting dark and me and a mate were about a mile away from our bikes and the lane that takes you back into town which was another 3 miles away. Woods and forest are spooky places when it starts to get dark, more so being under the canopy of trees and we were making our way back home because the night was drawing in. Once out of the forest and onto open fields and hedgerows, for some reason I glanced up and noticed this bright ball of light. It was roughly the height of where a normal aeroplane would be and try to picture the brightest star you've ever seen but times it by ten. It was really freaky as it was just hanging there and no other stars were visible yet, being early dusk.

Anyway, It was glowing bright white and like I said, about 10 times the size and brightness of a normal star, I couldn't say it was a physical object as such, just a glowing light. The friggin thing without doubt was watching us, no question about it as when we walked it moved with us, when we stopped, the object stopped. It now started to freak us out, what with it rapidly getting darker as the night drew in and from a casual walk it soon turned into a swift march and before we knew it, a sprint back to the bikes and get the hell back home. All this time the object was still following us until we got home where all the street lights of the town made it hard to see anything more in the sky. To this day I have no idea what it was!

EVENT 2
Now things start to get even more strange in the skies that week, but thankfully there were more witnesses. The best sighting happened later in the week (event 3) which I've left to last to describe.

After yesterday's weirdness at the local forest, there was another object in the sky but directly above my house this time. Myself and two other friends saw it as well as my dad. Again, this object was about the distance a standard jet would be, but was a huge round object just hovering there. It was very high and you could make out it was round, but only just. This particular object wasn't glowing white this time.

Without doubt, this object was intelligently controlled with numerous panels of multi coloured lights, all pulsating in different colours, in fact it was quite spectacular when I pointed it out to my friends, who had a bit of difficulty trying to see what I was seeing at first. I ran into the house from the end of the driveway where we were standing, shouted to my dad to have a look at this thing, I also managed to grab my binoculars and used a fence post to steady my hand. This is when I was easily able to see the multi coloured panels, about 30 different colour cycling panels. My mates all saw it both with the naked eye and through the binoculars and the event lasted about 10 minutes with my dad seeing it at the very end of it all. My dad is a non drinker and non smoker all his life being a football and fitness addict and stuff like this is too freaky for him to accept, but he saw it too. At the age I was, I didn't smoke or drink nor my mates, btw. That object simply started rising up into the sky until it wasn't visible anymore within a minute or so. To this day I have no idea what it was!

EVENT 3
The final event that week was the most spectacular occurrence I've ever seen in my life. This time there were seven of us to see this strange event.

We were all hanging out over the local school playing fields, only 200 meters away from my house and it was evening time and dark where you could easily see all the stars. After the events earlier in the week and discussing it with friends what some of us saw, we were watching the skies for anything new to happen and was rewarded that evening.

I noticed a bright dot in the sky almost the same as an actual bright star, but it was moving about slowly in different directions. If I had to say how high it was, it was way above any plane could fly and easily in actual outer space but above the earth and directly above our town, but seriously miles and miles away. Once I pointed it out, all seven of us stood in one spot watching it move very slowly around the sky until it became static for a while. What happened next was truly amazing, so much so that one of the younger kids got scared and ran home almost crying and not wanting to have anything to do with it. The rest of us stayed for a further 20 minutes or so until it all finished and vanished.

This one bright dot in the sky, after becoming static got even brighter and a smaller bright white object shot out of it at a phenomenal speed covering a distance that was easily 20+ miles in less than 1 or 2 seconds. What made this thing intelligently controlled is that as soon as that other object shot out of it, it returned back to the main bright light just as fast. We stood there in awe for a good 20 minutes watching 1 light shoot out, then 2 lights, then 3, etc, etc, etc. During the highest peak of all these bright lights shooting out from the main light, there must have been at the most 60 to 80 all shooting out in all different directions parallel to the earth and all merging back into the main light again, all covering 20+ miles in seconds some insanely faster than others, in every direction flat to the earth. It all started out slow at first then built up into way too many lights to keep track on. When all the lights finished merging back into the central light, it simply got dimmer and dimmer until it was no more visible. To this day I have no idea what it was or what it was doing.

CONCLUSION
I've never seen anything else since then although many years later when we moved house I did see two aircraft in the sky, very early in the morning, acting like typical private jets, however they had pure bright white vapour trails but the eeriest aspect is there was absolutely no noise in the air and could only describe this as advanced military technology of some kind, quite strange nonetheless, but nowhere near as strange as the above 3 events.

The above is one freaky occurrence I've witnessed in my life which all happened in the same week. Call it spooky, but the events above I honestly believe I was meant to see and it left me thinking some people are meant to see things and others never will, that's how it personally had an impact on me. Those who have never seen anything like this usually easily scoff at such and ridicule those who have been privileged in seeing events like the above. This is fine, I completely understand this, but we all know what we saw that week.

Don't go thinking I'm some sort of freak here or dismiss it all, I/we all witnessed what can only be described as UFO's. I know this is a ludicrous thing to say but have no other way of describing it, it was all simply unidentified flying objects and what they were doing I have absolutely no answer for, all I guarantee you that it was far too advanced for human technology, which leaves only one other answer.

Finally, I have absolutely no need to lie or bullshit about all this and wouldn't sit here to write all the above either. It's all 100% fact, on my life! Just thought I would share and wondered if anyone else here has been privileged with such blatant and obvious sightings like we all saw that week.

I have already given details to Bufora UFO research, years ago, btw.

Well, the universe is truly huge, so the chances that life hasn't evolved anywhere else is slim, to say the least.

Hmm my mate lived on a high rise like back in the mid 90`s & we often sat up at night/early morning,One morning we saw something like a light (dim reddish/pinkish) in the sky darting about,We joked that it was something like a UFO but the moves it was making was weird like,Ive never seen that before! we kinda just left it in our minds untill the heli`s we flying about low & slow about a half an hour later! looked like they were looking for something?,Anyways i got a phone call the next day by my friend & he says what we had seen was in the newspaper & that others had seen it to,I was more sceptical at the time (prototypes & such) but my friend thinks it was the real deal like & he still brings it up now & then now,Anyways thats my pennys worth 8).

I'm unsure on UFO's. I believe there's live out there, but i cant figure why for the life of me if they are intelligent to enough to travel through space. Why the fuck they'd want to contact our over evolved monkeys arses.

Without getting too deep or philosophical and boring everyone (I'm sure you've all got better things to do than read about aliens here) firstly, I would never say outright that aliens or UFO's don't exist, regardless. This all sounds a bit futile to me to say they definitely don't exist.

I'm not saying I believe in little green men or that the greys come down and ass probe victims in their sleep or carry out mutilation experiments on cattle ranches, etc. All I know is what I saw and there was no way it was from human technology, this was far too advanced and blatantly weird stuff. I do get very sceptical when people say they have been abducted but who am I to say one way or another.

It's a huge place out there in the universe and statistically anything is possible. What I saw defies belief where it starts getting into the realms of absurdity, when I sit down quietly and think about what we all saw. To this day some of the friends who were there that night are still in contact with one another and it never really gets discussed much between us, to be honest. We all know what we saw and there's bugger all we can do about it and have just got on with things over the years, however, I can still vividly picture the events with stark clarity and just wish I was able to somehow show people exactly what we saw. Utterly, without doubt, the most strangest event I have ever seen in my life and if you saw it too, then I'm sure many of you would think differently about the whole topic which I honestly feel sorry, to those who have never seen anything and I mean emphatically sorry.

UFO's have been depicted in very old art work, religious graphics and very highly respectable people holding responsible positions have witnessed certain events too. There is something going on for sure and I also believe many cases go unreported too (pilots, eg) or even get filed away into top secret archives as nobody really knows what the hell is going on here.

In some respects, everything else pails into insignificance after the events I saw that week, but have no answer for any of it.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback, seems to be not many of us who have seen strange occurrences in the sky, hope you do one day.

(now off to pack for a trip to Amsterdam tomorrow. Tot ziens)
