if you see a pic what i'm about to say will make much more sense....

most vaporisors basically do the same thing thru different means...they all heat the herb to a point at which the THC in the trichomes and on the surface of the plant matter actually vaporizes. This heating occurs by a heated element very near the plant matter or by superheated air passing thru the plant matter chamber. This THC vapor is then either forced into a "vapo bag" (Volcano, Voodoo, etc) or a "whip" (Vapor Bros, V-rip, etc). The bag types usually have some kind of valve and mouthpiece you then suck on, and the whip types have a mouthpiece on the end of the whip to suck on.

For the volcano imagine a hairdryer blowing thru a bowl of herb into a plastic bag..............that is basically what it is.

I was thinking of picking up a nice bong or vape while in amsterdam seeing as they could be a bit cheaper. the volcano goes for $600 here and im assuming its around the same price there..like $450 at the least. anyone know of any other ones that are good but cheaper? like the vriptech?

I personally think the verdamper is the best, try the college's one and if u wanna buy one theres a 10% discount at the flying dutchman over the road. I think they go for around 200-250euros.

:)
