It really depends what you want a new phone to do. I looked at the Vivaz a week or two ago but it was too small for me. The main thing I was looking for is the operating system and processor, the Vivaz is a nice phone with a good camera, but it runs Symbian software. Android software is better with more developers working on it. My personal opinion is that Android is the next big thing and that's why I opted for an HTC Desire phone. Not all HTC models run Android, btw, so check before buying.

Nothing wrong with the Vivaz in any way, it's a good phone but check what removable microSD card it can handle, 8, 16, 32GB, and what it comes packaged with. When I looked at the phone it stated that it could handle 720p HD which was impressive and has a huge 8 MP camera too, so it seems a good choice in that respect.

As for the HTC, I'm a technophile and wanted Android software with a big touch-screen for movies/games, etc, but you may not need all this 1GHz Snapdragon processor geeky stuff, with a large screen, that drains the battery quick. Many are waiting until the next iphone release, but not me as they don't offer Flash based web page viewing, but no one knows if they will yet, I suspect they never will and I don't like the way Apple are trying to corner the market and make everyone need an iphone as well as being obliged to upgrade each release of the two year shelf life of an iphone.

Looking at the HTC Desire, looks like I can get it on a decent enough 24 month (ouch) contract - £25 a month.

iphone is shit!
Guys I gotta stick up for the Iphone. I've had it since it came out and enjoy everything about it. Ok it has some limitations but the overall enjoyment and easy of use is outstanding... Nearly all the tech guys in america love and use the iphone..Kevin Rose blah blah infact the only phone that has taken Leo Laporte away from the iphone is the Google Nexus 1. which we cant even get in the uk. ive played with the android phone and a few htc's and there good solid phones..However I feel with the iphone ive got is a great phone and a mobile entertainment centre in my pocket..I'm never bored ANYWHERE!

Phone, email, games, great web browser, skype, Digital TV, Maps, App store in general, Ipod video,..all wrapped up in slick apple goodness.

Ive dropped mine loads of times and it works fine.

And finally you can wrap it in super thin military grade bullet proof plastic that protects it from nearly anything...
gonna heat me some Ti

I paid £410 cash for my HTC Desire from carphone warehouse. It's worth every bit of it. Ultimate gadget if you know what applications and games to get.

Good Day, Its Stoney-Pot-Sunday. There's plenty footie on TeeVee, its not raining, and I have a new wok to break in later.

Bad Day, I have shaved off my 4 month beard. It was getting a little out of hand ( not to mention itchy ). I feel naked, and I look about 15

I guess we have different views of bad days, Twich lmao

Good Day: It's a beautifully warm, sunny Easter Sunday and I'm waiting for my daughter to wake up and get excited about her basket. There's something in it she's been wanting and I can't wait to see her reaction.

Bad Day: Anticipation is killing me - under 11 days to blast off for the dam and I can't sleep. Been this way for a couple of weeks now.

Kermit, have you tired Tiger Balm, that helps my shoulder out, but thats a soft tissue issue. It might not help yours if that's what's wrong.

Yea man i would do if the swelling is continuing for sure. Damaging knees is stupidly easy to. Might be worth ringing up for one of those emergency appointments at the GP's, you don't have to be registered for one of those appointments.

If your miss's runs past a chemist they should have it there, it'll be in with all the deep freeze and deep heat stuff. Might be worth getting it checked though before you spend the pennies on it? Just in case it's a break or something random.
