BNP votes to accept black and Asian members
British National Party leader Nick has said he expects to welcome the party's first non-white member soon after members voted to allow black and Asian people to join.
BNP votes to accept black and Asian members .The decision to change the far-right party's constitution came after an extraordinary general meeting in Essex.
It was called after the Central London County Court told the BNP to amend its constitution to comply with race relations laws or face legal action by the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
Mr Griffin said he expected to welcome the party's first non-white member, a Sikh called Rajinder Singh, soon. He said: "I will be absolutely delighted to shake his hand and give him his membership card."
He added: "Anyone can be a member of this party. We are happy to accept anyone as a member providing they agree with us that this country should remain fundamentally British."
The party's democratic credentials were questioned after a News International journalist was ejected by the meeting.
The BNP leader said the Times newspaper, where the reporter works, had "told lies" about the party and was "encouraged to leave".

fair enough, but they'd just reform as the Real BNP or whatever. It seems like a great idea but you can't change a group of people's beliefs by outnumbering them, thats what these particular people are all afraid of in the first place! No you have to leave them do it and have the moral majority stand firmly against them. the only way to beat them is to vote against them, anybody living in a constituency with a BNP elected representative who didnt vote against them should be ashamed (at least enough to bloody vote the next time)

I agree reforming ideas is important man. But i've recently come to the conclusion that in every country theres a minority of fucking idiots who will never be convinced.colinzeal wrote:fair enough, but they'd just reform as the Real BNP or whatever.
