Do Coffee Shops stock up for 4/20 or do they save most of it for Queens Day?

There is a limit of I think 500g that the coffeeshop is allowed to have on the premises. It SHOULDN'T matter what day it is but I have a feeling lots of coffeeshops don't stick to this rule.

I think you'll find most do stick to that rule as being caught with more is a sure fire way to get shut down, to answer the original question the answer is simply no they dont, most coffeeshops dont even know the significance of 420.

I have heard "As American as baseball, hot dogs, apple pie, and Chevrolet", this from a Chevy commercial, but I never heard of "motherhood" being used. With a population of around 300 million, I suppose somewhere there might be a few who use this term.

I'd have to suspect that many coffeeshops especially those in the Centrum are leased to business minded folks who tend to take the 'am I making money yet?' attitude towards their shop and indeed life in general.

There are exceptions but the joy of the whole process seems to be missing on the whole. I realise that dealing with ignorant,stoned and often rude tourists day after day may take its toll but finding a smiling happy budtender whose attitude does not scream 'buy something and get out of my face' seems to be as rare as finding value for money in some quarters.

You just have to look at the sheer number of bad reviews on the coffeeshop forum to see that attitude is sometimes an unfortunate reality.

I am still amazed at how many C/S employees still have a good attitude, given the number of "less-than-pleasant people from all walks of life" they have to deal with.
I must give a shout out to the kind gentleman from Basjoes. I think his name is James. He is one of the most hospitable persons I have ever met. Every visit to Amsterdam includes a stop at Basjoes. '8)'
On the other hand, I have had the unfortunate experience or two of having to deal with someone who shouldn't be allowed to sell toilet mints much less work in a C/S.
Overall though, these folks do a good job, and at times under stressful conditions (read: customers with bad attitudes).

i agree ron a lot of budtenders could learn how to treat customers and run a shop. my fav shop

I think alot of problem people have is that people who go in and buy weed without the ' hello, how are you?' aspect of conversation get a cold reply. The deal is very buisness like, perhaps because that's how the conversation was started? But i find, whenever i've been pleasant and asked the how are you etc. i've been treated equally nice.

Although Gixxer, you could be right, some people appear to be complete wankers. But imagine being really kaned and having to deal with some moronic people, wouldn't put me in a good mood.
