hydro weeds / grit weed

Post by bigs »

probably sounds mental, but I'm finding that most cheap hydro weeds in amsterdam seem very similar to the sprayed/contaminated buds in the UK.

i.e blueberry my/noon and old amsterdam
boerjack boeregoens
and the most shocking one...katsu....silverpearl x northern lights - which I just bought and am looking at now.... there is definately some sort of fine substance on the buds/bottom of the bag?

Can anyone clarify or have years of the contaminated UK market triggered some sort of mental state where i think everything looks like this?!!!

I mean its all still smokeable, but harsh when smoking.

Please advise guys!

A lot of the contaminated weed was from Holland anyway, if you're still in Amsterdam take the weed back to where you bought it from and ask them about it.

indeed, it all came (and still comes) through benelux.

i just wondered if this was a particular trait of the quick-grow hydro indicas, or even a product added in the growth stage... its no where near as bad as the stuff i was getting in the uk, still has a good taste to it, but there definately seems to be some sort of fine substance on it.

I dont think it's got anything to do with the way it's grown, the one thing I did hear it was sprayed on during the flowering cycle to add weight but as usual because we're talking about something illegal theres no sure fire way to prove anything.

after further inspection it may be finely ground up leaves + stem sprayed on -seen this in uk a few times. Whatever it was nothing harmful no bad effects when smoking apart from it being harsh
but still curious as to whats going on here from some of amsterdams top shops...

CASH!!

Porsche Cayenne fuel

CASH!!

Apart from the Dampkring i try to avoid the so called TOP SHOPS like the plague. Weeds been going down the pan in these establishments for a while IMO.

Last time in Barneys was last summer and that was for a T&T

Last time in Greenhouse was summer 2008

Move on to the smaller shops where they care for the bud 8)
