Cheese genetics, also UK Cheese vs. HGF Cheese

I think I'm going to have to put my foot in my mouth here. I found this pic from Hortilab, a reputable breeder from Holland. The bud structure and color looks quite similar to the plant in the pic. If this new pic is a clone of the plant in the previous pic it would debunk the youtube videos claim that the original was never cloned.

I dont beleive the vid i also dont beleive Exodus cheese still exists. Are you sure about that Hortilab pic, i know a bit of his work and i know he has the yellow tip and the lime. That looks like the lime pheno to me?
As i said before there are loads of different phenos of Skunk#1 some have unique charactiristics so people like to say its cheese. By saying its Exodus will wack the price up alot and until i come across a cutting i will never beleive.
I guess only the original grower of the strain will know the truth and we never will.

You could always hit up Glen Jenkins and ask, lol. I've been assured that the exodus cheese is extinct now and that exodus themselves don't even have it anymore. All the cheese we get in the uk is big buddha or similar copies.

On a similar note, has anyone watched the bbc documentary on Haz manor from quite a few years back? It's called living with the enemy and focuses on a youngblood tory going to stay with the exodus collective for a week. Interesting watch, although they don't go into detail of strains etc.

I dont see why the Exodus cheese cant still be around, the guy I've linked to Jah Hoover said he's been growing it for years, I know recently DNA used the pollen off a 20 year old male Skunk plant to breed with, I'm not saying the plant itself is 20 years old but alot of people grow plants, take cuttings and then keep the cutting as the mum/dad and so on, Big Buddahs Cheese is imo more like a fruity skunk anyway, a lot of people say it's nothing like the Exodus cut.

Yeah maybe it is still around, but i'm sure 99% of the people who think they have smoked the exodus cheese, haven't. I've smoked alot of cheese but i know the big buddha version well enough to be able to recognise the similarities from batch to batch. The exodus version is supposed to be quite different.

It's all about psychosis from what i've heard these days, a stronger fruitier cheese...but where to get some? I'm sure exodus don't want it going the same way cheese went.

I got some "BB cheese" from DGC recently, it was very green and had loads of crystals, the smell was stronger than anything I've come across but was different from the cheese I've had in amsterdam- normally i would expect it to be real pungent, vomit like, but this stuff was sharper- almost menthol like.

Dont think real uk cheese has hit dam, but the blue cheese from bluebird definately isnt big buddha blue cheese or a big budda cheese cross..anyone know what it is?

G Bomb isn't Cheese, sadly everyone adds the word cheese so they can add more £ to the price.

Homegrown Fantasy had the UK Cheese when it first hit Amsterdam, I dont know if their cheese is worked from that as I did hear they lost the mother, the UK Cheese clone has spread all over the world now, I'm always seeing US/Spain/Holland breeders claiming they are working with the clone.

As someone who gets the Exodus cheese from my supplier, there is just one way to tell the difference... the smell. Exodus cheese has a unique smell compared to every weed i've smoked here in the UK or in Amsterdam. Its one of those weeds where everyone in the room goes 'fucking hell whats that!!' everytime. Anyway thats my opinion.
