Another space cake post, sorry!

Post by doolish »

I know there have been lots of posts on this subject but I'm looking for some info from someone who's been to the Dam recently and sampled the wares.

Where can I find a guaranteed decent spacecake? Is there such a thing or is it hit and miss??

reviews usually seem to indicate its hit and miss. i personally think the stone from eating can be diluted/missed if you are toking hard as many are while in the dam. though i am sure there are dud/weak cakes out there too.

however Paradox cakes have 1.25g in them and are often recommended by people. hope this helps.

Thanks guys. I will be toking hard when I go on Sunday although from what I'm told it's a different buzz eating it. Never really had much experience eating it. I did cook up about an eigth of decent quality soap bar (I know, decent quality and soap bar shouldn't be in the same sentence) but felt nowt, though my ex girl was WASTED, she thought she was gonna die haha :)

I've read good things about paradoxs cakes too. I think it'll be worth a trip. I'll post an update when I get back ;)

I don't think the quality of Space Cakes change over time...so you'll still get the same answers in 5 years time...I've been munchin the Paradox space cakes for the last 6 years and they've always wiped ME out ...but a lot of people dont seem to be affected by them aat all... :?

About 5 years ago I purchased some good Space Cakes from De Tweed Kamer. If I remember right about 3 years ago Coffee Shops stopped using Hash in there edibles. I don't know if that actually happened, though.I know that La Turtilla has Pot Brownies that are supposed to be good.

Brought this space cake home when I was in Amsterdam last week from Coffeeshop 36.
It was a normal sponge cake but very moist with a bland taste. Notice how green it is.
It apparently had .7g in it and cost €4.50
Did it work? Sort of, but not that much, better off buying the weed/hash instead.

What he said. Spacecakes usually take 1-2 hours to kick in so if you eat a spacecake and don't feel anything and then say screw it and start smoking you probably will think it was ineffective. Best to start of your day with a spacecake and then go to a museum or for a walk and you should feel it. If not, then it probably was a crappy one.

Had spacecakes at 420, Amnesia and Prix d'ami. No effect from any of them for me. Had two brownies from prix, ate them both on an empty stomach, hadn't smoked in 7 days. No effect. I think some people are immune, as I've made cannabutter myself that didn't do shit to me either.

My wife got pretty buzzed from the cookie she ate at 420.
Why drink and drive when you can smoke and fly?
