1. You can always buy pre-rolled. AFAIK, they are all pure since the no tobacco law.
2. Use one from the shop, if they provide one that is. If so, bring along a few alcohol wipes and thoroughly wipe the mouth piece, before and after!
3. Stop in one of the dozens of head/souvenir shops that sell pipes and buy a cheap one. When done, dispose of properly.
Just too fucking simple.
Peace.

The law doesn't stop them selling tobacco joints, in fact the chances are unless you ask for pure you'll get a tobacco joint.Dirty Uncle Ron wrote:1. You can always buy pre-rolled. AFAIK, they are all pure since the no tobacco law.

The more I think I know....
After reading the increasing number of posts about how shops aren't enforcing the law, why have such a law to begin with? And isn't the wide spread use of tobacco as a mix common practice/knowledge in Europe? So again, why? For the C/S's that have the space, and as some have done, build a separate smoking room. For smaller shops, suck it up. ':)'
Peace.

You can find bongs in most shops. Generally, the courtesy is to ask for it after you've ordered your drink. You don't HAVE to buy their weed to use their pipes, but you do have to follow the normal etiquettes.
I'll explain in-coffeeshop use of bongs below, but first, 1 piece of advice. How long are you in the dam for? When I come with friends for a good enough time (say, 5 days), we split a small bong. It'll run you about 20-30 euros for a small glass bong with case, but if you split the cost, it might be a few euros a head. Having your own bong to take around is USEFUL, but not necessary.
Some places also require a deposit for bongs and/or vaporizer parts and others don't. Here's my suggestions on best bong and/or vape shops:
1. Grey Area - best bong collection for use, no deposit needed, hands down. Pick from Roors, Illadelphs (yum), PHX, etc. No carbs on these bongs (the way it should be!)
2. Green House - Both spots (central and near dam square) have glass for personal use. Their bongs are smaller, but nicely cleaned and most important they're made of glass like the Grey Area. I don't remember the central location, but the one near Dam square also has a volcano for personal use. No deposit needed. The bongs here are a good example of "foreign" bongs (to us americans). I say this because foreign bongs have a carb you have to cover. For those living in europe, you have no idea how strange that is to us.
3. Bluebird - biggest collection of volcano vaporizers. Deposit to use them, but free
4. Baba's - check out their table-mounted glass-on-glass vaporizers. They're easy to use and very effective (but damn expensive to buy your own!) Free to use, no deposit needed.
Keep in mind that "You break it you pay for it" applies. I've seen 2-3 people white out throughout my trips, and one bong was shattered. In Green House, I saw a kid go white on the table next to me, bong in hand. As he was slipping off his seat about to hit the ground, I grabbed the bong.
Budtender gave me a free grinder as a thank you : )
Enjoy bro, I can't wait for my trip.

It's all down to Brussels and their bullshit health & safety bollocks, I believe that the cafes of Paris have stuck the proverbial finger up to this law and just let people smoke anyway, the sad thing is imo no matter what happens this law will never change and they'll just start policing it more & more.Dirty Uncle Ron wrote:Thanks Boner.Boner wrote:The law doesn't stop them selling tobacco joints, in fact the chances are unless you ask for pure you'll get a tobacco joint.Dirty Uncle Ron wrote:1. In defense of those who are bothered by second hand TOBACCO smoke, this law was a positive and much wanted legislation. Even though I smoke cigarettes, I have become accustomed to, and am in support of the social movement away from enclosed public smoking. With this having been said...
My POV (Point Of View)
C/S's should be considered differently, mainly because they are different. With the exception of vaporizing, smoking cannabis does produce second hand smoke. To date, most laboratory tests are, at best, inconclusive as to the extent of lung damage, if any, that is caused by the direct inhalation of cannabis. So goes without saying, about second hand smoke. People who work in C/S's obviously know that cannabis is going to be consumed on the premises, so I don't think they object to at least pure gear being smoked in their presence. If they do, why work in a C/S to begin with? Sorry, had to say it.
So, C/S's with the physical space and money have built enclosed smoking lounges within their shops. Why not make an amendment to the law that would allow the use of tobacco in these enclosed lounges, and only pure in the open? Hmmmmm, wow, now how difficult was that? Practical, pragmatic, and sensible all rolled into one. Unfortunately, ignorance is bliss(ful).
Peace.
