Didn't register for almost 2 years, cause I got high!

Post by grateful deb »

Hey now,
I have finally gotten around to joining this awesome site.
I first was in Amsterdam in 1990 on my honeymoon. I had to wait another 19 years to come back. Kids and life got in the way. I came last year with my husband (who was sent by his job 3X to open a new office, LOL, If only they knew what he did after work!).
I am going in March with my best friend for my 50th birthday. I am an old stoner chick (been getting high since 1973) and I don't plan on stopping.

My plan: My favorite shops first
- de Kuil (love my Zappa)
- Dampkring (Both)
- Barneys (cause I like the food with my MJ)
- Basjoes (who can resist James?)
- Grey Area (really good stuff)

Some shops I need to check out!
- Amnesia
- Home Grown Fantasy
- Katsu
- de Graal
- Blue Bird
- Greenplace
- Hunters
Any suggestions?

Wish this old lady some luck on her birthday adventures!

I hope I don't freak out the newbie amsterdam friend. She smokes too, though. I'll even play the tourist with her and go to the museums and stuff.
Thanks for listening!
Peace to you -Grateful Deb

Grateful Deb...clever name! Welcome to the forum. I'll be heading to the Dam March 9 for my second trip (first one was in 2001) so I know what you mean about waiting too long to return.

Hope you have a great trip - how could you not, right??

Welcome to the forum.

What dates will you be in Amsterdam?
I'll post you on the Whos In Town page.
There are a lot of Toke & Talks in March.

Enjoy

I'll be in town March 23-29.

Have a grate trip Dazed!

I like your avatar Gixxer! I need to pick one, hope that won't take 2 years  (Zappa is soooo underestimated by the music world)

Fellow Deb with a birthday- Thanks for the invite to smoke w/u & yer mum. (Man i feel old!!!!  This is a first for me, no one has ever made a playdate for me to smoke with their mother).
I'm not sure if I will be available until after the 27th as me & the friend are meeting up with some of her friends .

I am going to try and make it to a T & T. It sounds like Stuart can party and it should be a blast!

Hey Trad, you look like my brother circa 1975.
