Headshops near Leidseplein or Mellow Yellow

Post by DazedandConfusedinOR »

I'll be in the Dam in a week and I don't like traveling with any paraphernalia (pipes, grinders, etc). I'm sure headshops are a dime a dozen in the Dam, but could someone give me the name of a place near the Leidseplein or Mellow where I can pick up a decent pipe and grinder? I plan on meeting some people for a meet-n-greet at Mellow Yellow and I don't want to be walking around my first day there looking for a decent place. I was going to make Rookies my first stop just because they have a shop across the street. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

There is a very good little head shop, right next door to Rookies coffeeshop. Its Called Tatanka.

Thanks. Sounds like a plan. My flight doesn't arrive until late afternoon so I don't want to waste time walking around looking for a good one.

I just need a cheap grinder and pipe as I won't be bring them back with me.

Bleak, I saw that one Azarius, but according to their website, they aren't open on Wednesdays? That's the day I arrive.

Twichaldinho, that one sounds good. I wanted to stop by Rookies and pick up a couple grams of their Laughing Buddha.

Many thanks.

Azarius looks nice. I'd say Lemming should add that to the map.

Here is the link for Tatanka http://www.tatanka.nl/
Also look in the bottom left corner of the page. There is an ad for: 5 Max Shop,Across the street from Tatanka. It say's nothing in the shop is over 5 euro.Including pipes, grinders, bongs, and t-shirts. See you next Wednesday DazedandConfused.

Thanks badfrog. Looks like that 5 max shop is on the same street as rookies. So I'll look for Tatanka and the 5 max place and whichever I find first it will be. I don't want to spend $40-50 on a grinder and pipe I'll have for 2 weeks!

The magic day is coming...6 to go!!!

MY has a good supply of paraphernalia. Pipes, grinders, bongs, cones, lighters, tips, etc. The prices arent very expensive either.

Did you bring it back with you? I would be nervous about bringing anything back. They can be pretty arbitrary about what they confiscate at customs here in the US and it doesn't pay to argue with them as then you run the risk of being pulled aside.

I'm going to look for that 5 euro max place and if I can't find it I'll check the other place by Rookies. Good to know that MY also sells accessories for not too much. Thanks all.
