Icing the bong

Post by Pharcyde »

Anybody else like to throw the bong the freezer for a few minutes or dropping a couple ice cubes in. Mmmmm Icy goodness. Makes for taking good photos of plumes of smoke when you exhale.

Pack the pipe and keep it movin' down the line

I've done it and have enjoyed it.

I prefer a bong with no water though - go figure.
My thoughts are free.

Wouldn't that be a steamroller or a pipe? ;)

My ceramic bong frost's up nicely after 10 minutes in the freezer. Add some water and crushed ice after and you have a very cold pull.

Try this then: Take on of those freezer cups w/ the liquid in them and let it freeze all the way. Then take it out of the freezer and cover the top with plastic wrap. Take a joint and light it up, enjoy a puff or two 8) , then put the joint into a straw a blow BACKWARDS(like an old-school shotgun hit  ) through the straw and slowly fill the cup w/ smoke. Remove plastic wrap, tip up , and inhale. Its crazy, like drinking pot. :D

Peace

Best hit I ever had was from an iced bong. 4 ft. glass, filled with ice cubes to just below the mouth piece. Took 1 full pull just to get the smoke right to the top. That was some thick smoke. Exhaled and pulled the bowl and inhaled the thick smoke. No burn or anything, felt like breathing in regular air. A few seconds after letting that huge cloud out of my lungs, I was BAKED. Very nice.

I just saw one in a head shop for $290 USD. I could get 20% off so probably $230.

The guy had a different brand for $110. He said the ROOR is more expensive because of the name, and only a little better. But now I'm beginning to wonder if its worth it.

nothing better than a roor bong loaded with ice ..

it is the only way i can really fill the bong right up and smash back the whole hit in 1 breath...

without the ice, i mine as well light my lungs on fire.

I've got this one http://tinyurl.com/2f7u3m and it works a treat, with or without ice. Still don't understand why you would want to spend a lot of money on a bong when a cheap one works just as well :?

i must ask if you have ever smoked out of a quality bong before tall guy??

to me there is an unbelievable difference.. and not just in money... even the difference between plastic and glass.. there is a tremendous difference.. also when you add in the glass on glass factor, the difference is even greater.

then when you compare plastic to a roor bong.... i think ur crazy.. or i wonder if you have ever smoked out of a qaulity roor bong..

i dunno, i know nice bongs arent for everyone, and some just dont see the difference... but the proof is in the pudding... use a nice bong, then use a shitty bong.. and you will notice the difference..

and back on topic... use a bong with ice in it, then use a bong without ice in it.. the difference will blow you away.. especially after the ice has had a chance to chill the whole bong... and the water in it.

cheers tall guy!
