It was a table of very chatty young Americans and I thought to myself I just came all this way to sit with Americans?? Anyway, I took 2 hits, was high, got up and left.

amen. I love you uk folks, most of you are good people. But if you ask any Amsterdammer the people they most cross the street to avoid, it is tourists from the UK, male or female...

American may be overly friendly or loud, but we are generally good-natured.

The majority (and yes majority) of uk tourists you see in the rld are drunk, violent and ugly.....
Hold it ! i think that statement should be English tourists ! the Scots are loved world wide ! (im not saying there is not Scots A-holes)(im prob one of them) lol

See, i would of thought different. Most people i know from the continent ( Europe ) fucking hate Americans.

However, if the Europeans are nothing else, most are polite, so perhaps they save your feelings a bit....

When i lived in London, the only times American tourist's annoyed me was when they were on the tube and tried to talk to me, but that's it. Although, i saw a fair amount throwing up after trying to hang in the pubs with the day time drinkers....

They're the best kind of drinkers....

Whatever, that was beyond the pale...regardless I have fucked my way through more european women, married the best one and have a very good professional job here so they must not hate me. They also did not hate my father and his mates when they risked their lives in the fields of the ardennes.

I think you hang out with too many washed up leftists, cause the Europeans i know love Americans....

Actually the only Europeans who dislike Americans are Brits and the French. I mean you've made yourself perfectly clear, over and over and over, how you feel about Americans. To be honest, I don't really care how you feel, you never have anything positive to say. Always looking to pick a fight with someone. Where's the damn ignore button??? :?

You are dead wrong about the French, dead wrong...I am married to a frenchie and also spent time there as a kid...they do not hate us at all. The problem is, both the French and the Americans are proud and sometimes arrogant people, which means we do not always get along.

I know there is a stereotype about the french, and they can be dicks to tourists (i am a dick to tourists lol) but give them another chance.
