See, i would of thought different. Most people i know from the continent ( Europe ) fucking hate Americans.

However, if the Europeans are nothing else, most are polite, so perhaps they save your feelings a bit....

When i lived in London, the only times American tourist's annoyed me was when they were on the tube and tried to talk to me, but that's it. Although, i saw a fair amount throwing up after trying to hang in the pubs with the day time drinkers....

They're the best kind of drinkers....

You are dead wrong about the French, dead wrong...I am married to a frenchie and also spent time there as a kid...they do not hate us at all. The problem is, both the French and the Americans are proud and sometimes arrogant people, which means we do not always get along.

I know there is a stereotype about the french, and they can be dicks to tourists (i am a dick to tourists lol) but give them another chance.
