I did think you were a nice guy, but you proved me wrong.Sir Niall of Essex-sire wrote:Thanks for your advice.Keep telling yourself that, but you are really quite a close-minded and provincial person. You most def. need to get out more.
However, as you previously stated, i'm clearly scared of the real world. The mere thought of going out makes me piss my pants with fear.
You've changed your tune from ' you seem like a cool guy, let me know when you're in town we can have a smoke.'
So, either your character judgement is wrong, therefore i'm not going to take advice from someone who is that shit at judging people. Or you're spinless and enjoy flip flopping from nice guy to arrogent prick with a superiority complex, in which case, i'm not going to take your advice either.
Either way, thanks for the advice, consider it noted and thrown into the heap of bad ideas along with when mummy hitler rolled over to daddy hitler and said ' Fancy getting busy tonight?'

If the coffeeshop is full and there is one seat available , i would always ask if its ok to sit ! also generaly if there are seats available at a table ! i have had some good conversations with people met in these situations ! (A Dutch coin collecter , an English family taking their son to buy weed on his 18th) a couple of examples both ended in good times !

Some of you come off as a bunch of pricks. I hope if I grab an empty seat in a coffeeshop, I hope it's not next to one of you fuckers.
I am assuming that the anonymity of the internet makes you all a lot bolder than you'd be in person. The snarky obnoxious comments really need to stop, on both sides. I also think there's more than a shred of truth to the comments being said. You can't say, "Oh, I'm not like this in person at all" and then go on to slam someone or a group of people based on where they are from.

Why drink and drive when you can smoke and fly?
Your first statement "Most people i know from the continent ( Europe ) fucking hate Americans." is complete bullshit. I've been all over Europe, on more than one occasion, and the only nationality that gave me a problem were the French. Shit I've been to Asia, Australia, and have never met anyone who said they didn't like Americans, but what I have noticed is that in all the place I've been there is always one asshole like yourself who doesn't like Americans and likes to make it known.Sir Niall of Essex-sire wrote:See, i would of thought different. American may be overly friendly or loud, but we are generally good-natured.
The majority (and yes majority) of uk tourists you see in the rld are drunk, violent and ugly.....
However, if the Europeans are nothing else, most are polite, so perhaps they save your feelings a bit....![]()
When i lived in London, the only times American tourist's annoyed me was when they were on the tube and tried to talk to me, but that's it. Although, i saw a fair amount throwing up after trying to hang in the pubs with the day time drinkers....![]()
They're the best kind of drinkers....
There's one in every crowd especially when alcohol is involved.
In Italy there's a sort of anger against America too, due to political reason (the socialists because are against capitalism and nationalits because after the wwii they feel there was a loss of autonomy, an "enslavement" to the USA).hjd2023 wrote:I've been all over Europe, on more than one occasion, and the only nationality that gave me a problem were the French.
Btw ppl are polite enough to keep generally those opinions for themselves and act kind with the USA citizens (wich doesn't have the responsibility of all of the things their government made)

Right, so the fact YOU'VE met people means I obviously don't know anyone. Man, what you've just said is complete bullshit, just because you've met people who dosn't hate Americans, dosn't mean i dont know anyone who does. Wouldn't know, not a drinker. There's one in every crowd especially when alcohol is involved.

Jesus fuck me Christ. Before you guys say i slam people because of where they come from, at least provide a fucking example.ZBeebs wrote:Some of you come off as a bunch of pricks. I hope if I grab an empty seat in a coffeeshop, I hope it's not next to one of you fuckers.

So if i haven't said it, but you think i am, then i must hate Americans? Even though i have literally said previously i dont hate Americans?
Look, if you accuse someone of something and can't the point where someone said they were, then it's bullshit. If you prove an accusation, then why say it?
Imply? Bullshit, i've not implied i hate Americans, you may of interpreted as such, but your interpretations are not my responsibility.

I must not be reading what you are, because I'm not seeing this at all.ZBeebs wrote:Sir Niall, you're just being literal. And another thing to note: just because you visit a country and it's people are polite, doesn't mean they don't dislike your country.
When I'm not posting from my Blackberry I will go and find some of the more pleasant things you've said, unless someone else beats me to it.
But the funny thing is I wasn't talking specifically about you at first, yet you seem to think I was. What's up with that?

Why bother, you are a whiney bitch who constantly makes smartass comment on this board about any number of topics. Not just this one. And fuck examples, it is about perception.Sir Niall of Essex-sire wrote:Jesus fuck me Christ. You constantly have to dig on one group of people, on board dedicated to communication, smoking and amsterdam. There is nothing wrong with honest debate or disagreement, but at every turn you have to make some sarcastic and holier than thou comment about where some of us are from.
The funny thing is, you are anything but the open-minded left-leaning intellectual that you pretend to be. You go on and on but in the end you are just another bulldog nationalist, no different than the 19 year old kid who comes to amsterdam, pounds 15 lagers and runs around screaming with a union jack around his back.
i can already predict you response, so save it. The issue is your constant unpleasantness towards Americas on a board that is 99% polite people.
If you and most of your 'continental' chums 'fucking hate Americas' then fuck you dude! We don't need you anyway.
