The DSI may have a light version of Flash, rather like the iphone where it can access .FLV Youtube videos but can't access the whole Flash web based experience. Just had a brief check on this and that looks like the case, but not 100% sure without getting my hands on one and seeing if Adobe have made a dedicated plugin for the DSI that actually fully works, by testing it on lush Flash based web sites, etc.

Your map page requires a plug in that isn't available apparently (just looked).

That's exactly what I wanted to know but didn't want to take up your time and ask to check it out, but cheers, Boner.

Reason why is that I hope to design a new coffeeshop map for all these new smartphones that have Flash capabilities, but all iphone users are sadly stuffed as Apple have decided not to offer Flash on their phones yet.

No it asks to get the latest flash player but there isn't an option for the browser there.

I see, thanks for checking that out.
Handy gadget for accessing wifi though, nevertheless. That's what interested me in it.

That's good to know. I've still got a Sony Ericsson but it's not a smart phone and works perfectly fine still for my job, but I need to get a smart phone rather than lug a laptop round, that's why I want the new Google Nexus One mobile. Hope to make a far, far better map so that you can use and browse the map off line while in Amsterdam, plus I need this phone for my work too. The map will take ages to design and there's no rush, but I'll get there one day with it all.

Yes, that one looks good. Seems to be good with photo and video. I'm on a mobile phone hunt this weekend in Exeter. So many to choose from but the one I really want (Nexus) is not out yet, nor the UK price.

Had a look at one today in carphonewarehouse shop in Exeter. It was way too small for me, can't believe they can pack in all that technology into such a tiny space, but you really do need to physically pick up and handle these phones to see how good they are or not.
