Can anybody tell me what time the Rokerij on the Elandsgracht opens? Specifically on a Saturday.

When I visited this shop the bud tender was ok he just sold me my weed without any fuss Laughing Buddha at 9E a gram--very nice too. The interior didnt appeal to me at all, too dark, alcoves containing customers hidden in the gloom poor lighting, nice shop for getting weed I think but not one I'd like to sit in.

yeah that's my least favorite one. It's pretty touristy and not as friendly as the others. In my experience anyway.

There were bouncers on the door the last time and it made me feel a tad uneasy, but it's just the location I guess

Rokerij II: Located at the very top of the Singel canal and almost across from the train station is my personal favorite coffeeshop in all of Amsterdam . Because the tables on the terrace are the prime real estate, even at 2100 I was able to find a place inside in a relatively empty shop, with many available tables. Although it is only one floor (and one room) there is always space and I was able to enjoy my favorite seat and my book every time I went. The other reviews about the seating are true, on one side of the tables is a comfy couch that spans the duration of the wall and on the other side are comically small seats that are low to the ground. Because I only weigh 130 pounds soaking wet I had no problem sitting on these seats, however it was quite humorous to watch bigger guys try to perch themselves on those seats while not falling over in a hazy stupor. The music is excellent and so is the service, so much so that I frequented this shop more than any other. My first time I had the Jack Herrer for 8 euros, and after that with every return I got Laughing Buddha for 9 Euros. The Jack Herrer had many orange hairs, and was of a lush light green that made me smile when I opened the bag. The scent was truly unique and the vast majority of the trichomes were intact. The Laughing Buddha was a really excellent strain, one with which I was so impressed that I requested it with every subsequent visit. A large yet firm bud, there are few hairs but magnificently large and numerous trichomes. Even with the naked eye one could see the large bulbs of the glands. The buds of the laughing buddha were so sticky that I had to go to the restroom and wash my hands so that I would not leave a sticky residue on the furniture in the Willet-Holthuysen Museum . The budtender and drinks waitress were friendly with every visit (different ones each time). The perfect Coffeeshop to end your day, and relax before heading back to the hotel to turn in.

This was my first stop and we went back almost every day to hang out for a smoke and a coffee or hot chocolate.
Most evenings they were playing some nice and jazzy dub step that fit well with the decor, though twice they had some uninspired hip hop playing.
I only made one purchase here, some Sahara Hash and White Widow.
The Widow was very beautiful, a ping pong ball nug that was impossibly dense , it was a pretty mellow Widow though, much different than the intense looser bud from Haarlem i got.
The Hash was really nice, a great soaring stone, and an excellent price at 10eu.

Went back again recently (the Leidseplein one) and scored some Amnesia.

Been sniffing it to make sure recently, since I had the batch that was extremely similar to Blue Cheese.

Well, their last few weeks has been good, nice Amnesia for 8 Euro/gram.

But I didn't bother this time and that strange batch is back again! Maybe it is a cheese cross or something but to me it tastes just like Blue Cheese. Strange, because they could easily sell this stuff for 10 Euro/gram.

So due to unpredictability, I will not buy Amnesia from Rokerij anymore. Especially when I found a great new option (on the bike) at nearby Eerste Hulp for 9 Euro/gram.

I will still get Rokerij's Super Silver Haze though. Good stuff and only 8 Euro/gram.

Had some hash from Rokerij recently too and it was tasty, sadly I don't remember what it was, some kind of Maroc.

I confer with wietroker that consistency is a big issue when you live here and change is a bad thing when you've been getting use to a good batch...

What I love about Mellow Yellow's Amnesia Haze - TW, is the consistency, it's there, I've been buying it regularly for two years now and although it's not stupid strength - it's has never let me down in terms of flavor and a creative high :)

I'll give the MY Amnesia a go soon. I was not impressed with their Super Silver Haze though I've only picked it up the one time. Hopefully the Amnesia will be much better.
