Try the GreenPlace or Stones Cafe. The chances of it being shown in either is high in my opinion.joossy wrote:Hi,

Nes has gotta be the place, if they are showing the football that is
, good beer and vapes
Stones can get a bit crowded, and a bit pricey if i remember rightly from my last trip, watched Liverpool go out of the FA cup to Reading with Twitchaldinho and Pauli Wallnuts!!!!.
Green Place would be a good bet, but ask beforehand and if its on try get there early to get a seat

Without a doubt, it will be shown at the Satellite Sports Cafe in Leidseplein. It's basically an industrial-sized sports bar with a gazillion tv screens and a platoon of hottie waitresses. I'm not a fan of the place since they overcharge for drinks. You CAN toke up in there in a separate smoking area but whether you'll have a view of the game from there is a bit of a gamble. If there are a lot of people and other popular games being played that day, then they may not be able to switch one of the LCDs to the game YOU want to watch.
The last time I went, my bud wanted to watch the Giro d'Italia. The Sports Cafe was the only venue we'd have a chance of seeing whilst enjoying a doob so we went there. I've also watched an NFL playoff game there. You can check their website where they list the games being shown, which is a plus.
BTW, they also have an all-you-can-eat ribs special, but I've never partaken.

Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.

Football world championships are played during June-July and I'll be in town then. I would think there are a lot of places that time where you can watch the games, since dutch people are pretty much a football nation? And since it's only every 4 years, those games are a must see. With good food and bud to smoke, evenings should go by smoothly.
