done this on a number of occasions, as for letting it soak for an hour - no,no,no. this extracts alot of contaminates which you do not want. for me i think a minute is too long but i will usually do two washes at 20-30 secs each, shaking the jar vigorously during the wash as this helps break up the cell walls and release the goodness you are after.

after saying that i aint done qwiso for ages, its BHO all the way for me now, just because the taste and quality IMO is far superior than qwiso

Will have about an oz. in a little while and would like to try it out, but don't want to waste it as I know there are other things you can do with it, but they are more complicated.
All of the left over is from good Cali medicinal of varying strains.

Can any one answer this ??
Would really like to give it a try.

Yes, you can. I have about a pound of vape duff that I'm going to turn into QWISO. I expect it to be very CBD heavy, since the vape extracts much of the THC but leaves behind some of the other cannabinoids.

I did a soak of my vaporizer whip last weekend, and got a nice amount of what is more like oil than a solid...Which makes sense because the stuff in the whip is entirely condensed vapor. It's very potent.
Why drink and drive when you can smoke and fly?

I just want to say again that if you have vaporizer parts, make QWISO with them. The QWISO oil I made from my vape whip is absolutely killer. A little bit wiped on a bit of bud and pulled through my bong has me soaring right now.

Buildup from a vape downstream from the heat source is not like pipe resin - it is condensed vapor. Vapor is very high in THC and doesn't contain any crap, as such the end result is some very high quality stuff. WWWHHHHEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Found a video about making " Wand Hash "
Doesn't involve using iso, just manuel labor.
I use a Volcano, so no use to me.

Just jumping in about the evaporation....use a bowl of boiling hot water, placing the other bowl of alcohol on top. Place near a window for around 10 minutes, if less. Kind of how you would melt chocolate as a kid :P

So, has anyone tried this on their grinders since reading this?
I'm about to give it a go today with four well used metal jobs with screens.
I've only a small apartment so would i be better off doing it out on the balcony? (don't worry, no one can see, 8) ) I'm guessing it might stink, yeah?
Cheers.

i'v used iso on grinders in the past mate, it works quite well. i would also advise using your balcony as it will stink to high heaven plus it is flammable so best not to have the fumes wafting about your flat just to be on safe side
