Welcome back C.S.S,

Glad your having a crazy one blazing up all around the world! That was a really interesting post. How long do you have left of your trip? and I agree, it would be a big shame not to have a stop over in Dam on the way home :P

Keep on Partying!

Top notch report and very informative. Cheers! :D

BTW, I'm not trying to cast a pall over your report, but could you let us know what kind of heat a traveller might expect in some of the countries you visited, e.g. Nepal, Laos, etc.? Was it the death penalty in every case? Were LEOs actively looking to bust foreigners or could they not give a sh*t? Would really like to know...

Also, is happy pizza what I think it is?

Makes me want to pack up my bags and get on a plane, oh hang on I'm doing that Friday when it's back to the Dam again.
Still, mungous travel report.
I would much rather be happy than right any time.

to follow up on the thai police situation, usually a small bribe of around £50 will get you off a variety of offences including weed smoking although you would need to bargain with them and obviously the trick is not to get caught in the first place.

glad to hear you had a good time in cambodia, lake side is a great place to smoke and chill although last time i was there they were putting concrete over the lake the fools.

great report c.s.s.. i went to a few of the destinations you have visited last year..thailand,singapore and vietnam to be exact. loved thailand and eben sg. hated saigon though. nha trang was pretty though. wheres next on your visit? if your looking for good q weed thats easy to find try southern california. i was here and found 2 strains quite easy..and cheap. some of the best weed iv smoked. hope the remaining 4 months of your trip are as fun as the previous 8 have been!
educating myself and waiting for the next trip.

I loved Nimbin, the whole organic feel of the place is special. I stayed for a week. I went back when living in Brisbane, as I specifically hired a car for the day just to pick up an Oz from Nimbin. I got it off a lady on the main road who had a small table set up and a sack between her legs from which she was discreetly dealing ounce bags to tourists.

Nimbin isn't without it's issues, junkies in the park, Aussie chavs with questionable morals etc but I loved it.

Great report!

well, the beautiful scenery, the fresh HUGE size organic fruit & veg selection, the god-damned hippies (some are really strange but interesting ppl), the weather, mardi grass, 35 mins from Gold Coast....

And the free open attitude to weed! Wish I was sitting on the rock at the campsite looking at the turtles in the water, smoking a fattie right now actually- beats a day at the office anytime!

thanks, the location tip needed some balance
sounds like a cool place joking apart, my mum is a hippie and so is my uncle (still lives in the middle of hereford up a mountain), and I nearly lived in Tippe valley in wales after dropping out of school but backed out at the last minute, 100 hippies living in indian tipees (Wig Wams) all year round freezing their nuts off literally, no clothes most of them, absolutely bonkers back to nature lifestyle, great characters, though some were scary nutters (ex-cossack, and a few crims hiding from the heat out in the hills etc, two real witches and a wizard too)...
