Nah hand luggage ;) - I put the 2 baggies of the Ice in my condom pocket in my dirty jeans and I built a joint with the bubblegum and put it in a plastic joint holder (most coffeeshops have them, just ask for 1) in the bottom of my rucksack, I'd of just said I forgot about them worst case they'd of fined me.

We only had hand luggage as well.

I was thinking of doing the same when I went - putting a few baggies in a couple of jeans pockets and 'forgetting' they were there.

I'm taking hold baggage though, I'm hoping it will work :) will post and let you know.

Thanks again Boner, I have read alot of your posts and I agree with above, you are a true ACD Legend, look forward to your next trip report in the distant future.

Hey Boner,

Thanks for this thread, great pics!!! Sorry to hear you might be leaving the scene.

May I ask what is the weather like right now? I am going in a few weeks and ive not been around this time of year before. Is it too warm for knitted hoodys? windy, cold?

Also which CS's have bumped their prices? Need to check some menus.

Thanks

MAN UP BONER!!!
You would be missed around here, so dont fuck off completly.

I understand yer PoV though. As much as I love Amsterdam, I too, am considering takin less trips every year. In order to not loose that magical feeling the place gives me.

Cheers for the report though, and hope ya feel a little better by the time you read this.

Nice one Boner respect man you will be sorely missed on the forum mate if you decided to leave, but I can understand what you mean about not needing to go so much anymore. I used to go a lot myself over 10 years ago but it did sort of seem to lose its magic after a while. But after returning with the Mrs 2 years ago after a 10 year break the magic was back, absence makes the heart grow fonder as they say. The only thing that shocked me was how expensive everything had gone the smoke, beer, food and accommodation everything seemed to have quadrupled in price. Anyway have a great time whatever you decide to do mate.

Hi Boner,

Thanks for the travelogue man, it was a pleasure to read. Ive not been a member long but already I have seen what a great impact you have had on this site and it would be ashame to see you step down more if honest. But like the others, I respect and understand your decision to do so, and hope that you find fulfillment in the new pathway you are taking.

Sorry to hear you were not in best health during your trip, that always sucks especially when you really wanted to go for it and have a blast. Oh btw, what would you say your best smoke was from the trip?

Peace

I'm still going to hang around for a bit I just wont be as active, the longer it is between trips the less my knowledge will become useful, cheers for the kind words folks, very much appreciated.

Best smoke? 3 way tie- Blue Kush from 420 (€12 a gram), Bubblegum from Stix (€10 a gram) or the Bas Special from Basjoe (€12 a gram but James sorted me the fattest gram I've ever had in Amsterdam).

Those were from coffeeshops as the best overall smoke is the Ices I tried that were off a friend. ;)

That was quite a bit of ground covered for someone who's not feeling 100%. Hope you feel better for more reports. Enjoy!!

Wow i never knew that Rembrandtplein had completely changed!! Guess that prooves your point in that knowledge isn't as valuable inbetween trips....i would still also be sending people to the museum quarter to see the I Amsterdam sign

Thanks for the report tho.
