Hi Boner
appreciate you struggling thru the germs and writing/posting anything at all really, and also appreciate that feeling of 'is there much left for me to achieve here' after your trip...mind you Im sure i said that after my 40th Birthday trip and then last year after a four year break from Dam I had the most enjoyable trip ever..... so hope springs forever eternal...there used to be a huge gap in what you could achieve from a stoners perspective there compared to home life, and the difference in quality on both buds and hash compared to Englands dope was vast. Now their buds often dont seem so mindblowing and hash is a niche thing for many (not for me of course  ) , and in your case with your level of gardening knowledge I can see how you might feel like its a very expensive bed and breakfast trip ...

Im aching to try that Kush ice....you lucky boy...does it taste like a old skool hash or like an isolator?

I'm going to hang around here for the time being offering any help/advice I can give but I think you'll see a lot less of me over the next 6 months or so.

Cheers for reading, hopefully you've enjoyed the ride.

:D
Bummer you weren't feeling well. Still sounded like a nice getaway. If I lived near the Nederlands, I'd probably be done with Amsterdam as well. Guess you're gonna hafta find a new cannabis vacation hotspot. Spain? U.S.?

I hear ya Boner. I was kind of feeling the same way when I got back a couple weeks ago.

Give it time... Sooner or later, the tempting call of amsterdam will bring you back for more.

If it doesn't, then hopefully you've found your next utopia

Boner,
If this Route 66 road trip comes to pass, and you find yourself in Chicago in search of a homecooked meal or even some supplies, simply send a private message and something can be arranged. My wife loves nothing more than to cook for hungry stoners, and we always enjoy meeting like-minded people. Just an offer. Peace.

Much appreciated, I'll keep it in mind, I did plan on announcing if and when it happens as I was going to see how many ACDers I could meet across the way. :D

Alternate Route

Post by Bob »

I'm sure Route 66 has got it's charms (like, the grand canyon), but do you really want to go thru Texas?
What about the Pacific Coast Highway.
Starts in Los Angeles, passes thru the northern Cali redwood forests, Oregon and the Columbia River Gorge, up into Washington and the Olympic National Forest, from Seattle you can hop onto a ferry for Vancouver, BC. This is an good route if you want to find excellent gear along the way.
If you start in Los Angeles and start driving towards Chicago, you are heading away from great bud.
