Who first "introduced" you to smoking?

I was about 22 or 23 - and a friend of mine's boyfriend was really into it and when he found out I never had and wanted to try he hopped right in his car and came right over good times For many years after I was only the occassional smoker, about 8 years ago finally started purchasing weed myself and smoked when I wanted to not just when others wanted

An older sister of a school mate gave us some Thai stick, which took me a while before I knew what that was. We smoked out of a soda can, and I since I hadn't ever smoked, I didn't quite get the hang of it. Next time, same people, same weed, but I was introduced to a little bong and it was all over from there. First time I really listened to Hendrix too.

Oxegen music festival in Ireland when i was 17...got tiny bit of hash off a guy and smoked from a can, that was the first time i smoked.

first time i was really high was at a friends house...smoked some buckets and got a good dose of the giggles....haven't looked back since!

You know, I remember my first spliff, and I remember the folks I toked with, but they wernt the first people who I new, who had, or smoked pot. I guess I've always known people who smoked, so there was never really an 'introduction' as such.

Same story as most really, round a friends, his sisters boyfriend went outside for a smoke, asked if we wanted to tag. We did. A smoke, watched the Simpsons, changed my life.

I was 15 , was at my mates house , with 2 of my mates and their wives got wrecked on 1 joint of fuck knows what , still remember lying on the hallway floor giggling like fuck at the ceiling

the other night I was watching American Idol .. and they were showing a story about the singer's family, the singer Urban Kelly's family and guess what the mom's name was...... KELLY... Her name is Kelly Kelly ... dude I just lost it for like 10 mins.. still makes me giggle a week later... ok yeah a high moment .. you'd have to be there and stoned to truely appreciate ... but just saying -- LOVE the WEED giggles

About 1980 my first time.

Round a friend's house with him and his older brother who'd just come back from his uni course in Leicester. He had some weed, we smoked it, I almost fell down the stairs because I was laughing so hard at a Laurel and Hardy movie. The next day we went to Durham and bought some weed from a biker in a pub called The Jug. The weed was shite, but we met other people through the biker lad and soon had a source of good hash. Yes folks, you could buy good hash in the UK at one time.

March 18, 1998 on a sunny but cold day with my boy who came with me to AMS last year. We were on his rooftop, got CRAZY high off of what was probably dirt and proceeded to munch out on bacon, egg & cheese sandwiches while watching Austin Powers for the umpteenth time laughing our asses off.......

I remember a few minor details of the time.

After that first smoke we bought an ounce the next day and I never looked back.

effect: didn't get high, but got the munchies and ate a tube of nestle' cookie dough

second time i smoked though i got RIPPED. also through a pop can. also schwag..prob beester. seedy..dry. smoked in back of the local school. went home with friends and watched terminator 2 and laughed and laughed.

iv been around weed since as far back as i can remember..age 5-6. my brother is 10 years older than me and started in 1989 when he was 15. i discovered his bong in his closet when i was 5 haha. thought it was a plastic red vase.

Is it only me who has noticed the out of synch days and dates on the title of this thread??

Anwyay...the first thing i ever smoked in my life was when i was 16 and my friends passed me a joint. It was at a campsite where a load of us were drinking and that's probably the only reason i said yes to a puff.....needless to say i never looked back.
Although my dad has smoked his whole life pretty much and when he realised i was smoking also, introduced me to the pipe and 'pure' smoking. That was around my 10 years ago....and i have probably only had 2 or 3 drags on tobacco since.

I did a lot of hitch hiking back in the early 60's, usually from Chicago to California in the early fall, got a sort of wanderlust.
Got a ride from old two gay guys when I was about 16 in Oklahoma of all places and they were invited me to dinner at their house.
I accepted as I hadn't had much to eat and it was cold. ( also really didn't quiet understand their relationship )
After dinner they brought out a cigar box and rolled up some "cigarettes".
I read enough to have an idea what they were and wanted to try it and here we are 50 years later.( don't know what it was, rember I got dizzy, and talkative,and sleepy )
To save any comments, they let me sleep on their couch over night, did not molest me, took me to the highway after a nice breakfast and another joint and gave me $ 10.00

was 13 and was stealing my parent hash But didnt know what to do wit it...so one night me and friend went to the High school in my area and they was this PIT (a hole were ppl hang out) i whent up to one of the guys and ask if they could Help me? they rolled me 2 joints took 2-3 puff chock alway for about 1 hours « everyone was LOL at me and friend « the older guys kinna became friend we hang out at the pit till summers end « same summer got drunk for first time did alot of stupid childish thing also« some of the best years of my life
